The oxidative stress in anthracycline cardiotoxicity in rabbit

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate possible changes of 4-hydroxynonenal expression in rabbit aorta after repeated administration of daunorubicin. Chronic anthracycline cardiotoxicity was induced by repeated administration of daunorubicinu (3 mg/kg=50 mg/m2 i.v., 1x week) for the period of 10 weeks. We focused on the monitoring VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 expression in rabbit aorta. Ten daunorubicin groups were compared with control rabbits. The animals were killed 24 hours and/or 7 days after the administration of daunorubicin. Immunohistochemical analysis showed no expression of 4-HNE in any control or experimental groups. In conclusion, the administration of daunorubicin did not induce 4-HNE expression in aorta in either control and daunorubicin treated rabbits, suggesting that endothelial dysfunction and/or oxidative stress in aorta is not triggered by daunorubicin treatment in vivo.

Humor of facebook and its role in the presidential election campaign

This thesis deals with humour on Facebook, I examine the themes and practices of humorous posts that are related to the direct election of the President of the Czech Republic,in particular to the two candidates who got into the second round of presidential elections, Karel Schwarzenberg and Miloš Zeman. In the theoretical part I introduce humour from a theoretical point of view. I identify three central theories, types of jokes and function of laugh. In subsequent chapters I define the basic assumptions that lead to the involvement of fans in the creation of online posts, which can circulate through social networks. I present new tools in online political marketing and summarize the basic topics of the official campaigns of both candidates. In the practical part I analyze, using the grounded theory, how and why Facebook users worked with humour in posts which respond to the presidential election. The material which was searched, can be described as illustrated jokes, photos with or without text, collages, comics or cartoons from official and unofficial Facebook pages of both candidates. The research showed that humour had primarily negative role during the campaign. Humour was a tool to defame and ridicule the candidate, jokes showed his shortcomings. Family Names, inherited Names and Nicknames in the village Láz

The topic of this thesis deals with the onomastics of the Moravian village "Láz". The main part of the exploration are the types of surnames and names after residence in Láz. The next item of interest are the nicknames appearing in the village. I got the onomastic material from the set of surnames, names by the houses and I have gained the nicknames with the help of exploratory methods through the questionnairs and dialogues. I make the analysis using of traditional clasiffication degrees. The thesis aims to make a register of official and unofficial personal names and their linguistic analysis.

An Analysis of regional dialects spoken in Nové Syrovice, Láz

The topic of this work is the analysis of dialect in locations of Nové Syrovice and Láz in the Třebíč region. The author analyses the spoken expressions of three generations (old, middle age and the youngest). The author performs phonetics, morphology and lexical analysis of dialect phenomena and evaluates the current situation of the dialect in this region. The aim of this work is to assess the degree of preservation of dialect features, retreat of previously specific elements or innovation caused by the influence of the media.
