Unbound mixtures to the pavement base layers
Žůrek, Jakub ; Hýzl, Petr (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the possibility of using alternative materials in base road layers. Specifically It‘s about different granular material from mines (fraction 0/22) and recyclate, the possibility of their their classification within the used base layers and assessment of their suitability for specific structural layer. The thesis subject is also assessment of suitability of laboratory tests currently used in the Czech Republic and is trying to deal with the question whether these tests are ideal or not. The theoretical part summarizes the currently used base layers, their properties, technology of their implementation and It explains the current testing system. The aim of the thesis is to define mechanical properties of the examined materials, compare them and evaluate them.
Aplication of
Žůrek, Jakub ; Mališ, Luděk (referee) ; Hýzl, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the pavement management system as a tool for a management and maintenance of the roads in the Liberec region. The aim is to collect road failures within the network pavement management system level on roads of 2nd and 3rd class. The resulting data will be used for evaluate pavement condition and make plans of pavement maintenance and rehabilitation in variants. Furthermore, the thesis deals with individual variants in the process of data evaluation when evaluating their suitability and accuracy. The theoretical part summarises the information needed to understand the functioning of the road management system, as well as a description of the software used to collect and subsequent work with the data. In the practical part are presented results of the thesis and moreover the questions arising from the goals set are answered.
Crossroad III/42510, III/39528, III/41619 - Study
Žůrek, Jakub ; Jakl, Tomáš (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is a technical study focusing on an adjustment of the four-legged intersection of roads III/42510, III/39528 and III/41619. The intersection is located between villages Ledce u Židlochovic and Hrušovany u Brna and is an important connection of forementioned roads. The reason of this study is a poor road condition, poor traffic markings condition and relatively high traffic accident rate. After measuring and processing traffic data it has been found, that the intersection doesn’t provide sufficient traffic flow for maximum potential traffic rates. Three versions focusing on safety and increasing maximum potential traffic flow were designed and the most optimal one was chosen.
Crossroad I/14 x III/3037 x III/3038 x III/3039 - Červený Kostelec
Žůrek, Jakub ; Jakl, Tomáš (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of the master´s thesis is the elaboration of a technical study that focuses on the modification of a five-branched road intersection involving roads I/14, III/3037, III/3038 and III/3039. The intersection is situated within the urban area of Červený Kostelec, specifically in its main activity centre. The primary motivation for commissioning the technical study is the need to address a complex and expansive intersection in the city centre, propose a solution to close at least one incoming roadway, thereby reducing its footprint, and simultaneously create an enlarged space for a square. Within the technical study, three capacity-assessed variants for resolving the intersection were proposed. Additionally, for the adjacent intersection on Tyršovo Square, in connection with the closure of one branch on the primary intersection, two variants with different road markings configurations were suggested. The forementioned variants stand as the final output of the technical study.
