Pokorný, Michal ; Bernardová, Kateřina (referee) ; Konečná, Zdeňka (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on managing process of recruitment, selection and adaptation of workers in a pharmaceutical company Zentiva. The main goal of this diploma thesis is based on the theoretical background and obtained information about the company, which was used for improving suggestions in selected areas. This diploma thesis describes and specifies following steps in the recruitment and subsequent area – employee adaptation.
Miniature antenna for mobile applications
Šmarda, Marek ; Švanda,, Milan (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the most famous constructions of planar antennas. The work analyses selected methods of connecting planar antennas' charging with the possibility of impedance adaptation. An important part of the work consists of description of techniques for increasing bandwidth and conversely techniques for reducing the dimensions which are important for the design of planar antennas for mobile devices. The antennas were designed by means of theoretical basis and their properties were examined in the electromagnetic field simulator. The selected antenna model was constructed and its parameters were measured experimentally. The matching circuit for the antenna to tune it to different resonant frequencies was designed and constructed.
User influence on miniature antennas in mobile applications
Vehovský, Radek ; Polívka,, Milan (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with user influence on miniature antennas in mobile application. Electrically small antennas including fundamental performance properties and limitations are introduced in the theoretical section of this thesis. This section also deals with microstrip antennas and their common types. The accent is on PIFA antennas, their typical constructions and methods of miniaturization. In the practical section, dual-band PIFA antenna for operation at frequencies of systems GSM900 and GSM1800 is designed with the assistance of electromagnetic field simulator CST Microwave Studio. On this type of antenna, the user influence on impedance matching and radiation pattern in data mode (the user is typing message or browsing with the phone) is investigated. For this purpose the hand phantom, corresponding to author’s right hand, was made from agar based material. For typical position of human hand is designed matching network, which eliminate the user influence and ensure correct function of antenna.
Planar transmission line on semiconductro substrate
Chára, Pavel ; Harwot, Ondřej (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to acquaint with the various types of the planar transmission lines and discuss their properties. Subsequently, the development of the real models of selected lines and verification their properties by simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics. The second part deals with the modeling of the semiconductor substrate, which replacing the dielectric substrate used for the transmission lines in the first part. The final part deals with the verification of calculation results in a specialized program TiberCAD.
Retrodirective antenna array
Šindler, Pavel ; Morávek, Ondřej (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
In the first part of this thesis a basic theory of retrodirective antenna arrays and their particular parts – antennas and mixers is summarized. Further, there is a basic summary of possibilities for an usage of retrodirective antenna arrays for an information transmission. The second part deals with the concrete retrodirective antenna array design. The design starts with creation of an antenna array model for MATLAB software. Then a suitable structure for further design is chosen. Further, particular parts of retrodirctive antenna array – a patch antenna, a mixer, a low-pass filter, a bandstop filter, a signal combiner and a Wilkinson power divider are designed and analyzed in Ansoft Designer software. For the patch antenna analysis also CST Microwave Studio software is used. The following part deals with the realization of particular parts of the retrodirecive antenna array and its parameters measuring.
Holographic antenna
Klečka, Tomáš ; Polívka,, Milan (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with principle of microwave holography, methods of microwave hologram recording and analyzes some types of holographic antennas from structural and functional point of view. It also includes simulations of selected holographic antennas and their modi?cations, applies optimization on three types of antennas. Finally it reviews measured results of three costructed antennas.
Computer modeling of MOSFET transistor
Major, Jan ; Harwot, Ondřej (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
Work is focused on computer modeling of PN junction and MOSFET transistor in the program COMSOL Multiphysics and in program TiberCAD. The text is discussed on the drift and diffusion in semiconductors. Also shown is a method of modeling the PN junction and MOSFET transistor in the programs and compare models.
Software platform for simulation and visualization of electromagnetic structures
Nunvář, Rostislav ; Kubík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
The content of master´s thesis is to introduce with OpenSource software, which use finite element method and to study facilities implementation of free accessible library solvers, meshes and visualization tools. Further there are individual modules introduced. Is chosen suitable combination of OpenSource tools, which create full simulation facility for finite element method. In the conclusion, several electromagnetic examples are solved.
Dielectric directional coupler modeling
Šikl, Tomáš ; Čapek, Miloslav (referee) ; Pokorný, Michal (advisor)
Dielectric High-frequency transmission lines are natural alternative to the lines made of metal in term of low loss. These lines are mainly used in microwave techniques of measuring. The main object is to describe basic parameters of metal and dielectric transmission lines and their comparison. Next point is a basic overview of the excitation the lines from metal and it's application on dielectric transmission lines. Then make the simulation of microstrip directional couplers and coupler made by dielectric waveguides. The last point of work is construction these directional couplers and measuring their most important parameters.
Virtual serial port and its safety conversion to Ethernet
Pokorný, Michal ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis try to find a solution to make virtual serial port and its safe transfer on Ethernet. Nowdays communications channels don't offer appropriate security of a whole communication. Therefore it depends on get-togethers, in order to realize this security themselves. This means ensure reliable data transfer, these data from among get-togethers encrypt in order to appropriate attacher be unable to read them in real - time, eventually to change them. As a result this Bachelor thesis is the application, which, except transfer between virtual serial port and Ethernet, insure authentication among get - togehthers communication and cipher transfer among them. As an encryption algorithm is used algorithm AES. It is concerned symmetrical cipher, which ciphers data after pages about size 128 byte.
