In my bachelor thesis, I experiment to create an author's visual language in the form of a 3D real-time rendering. Later, I add audio and music components to the visual and create game mechanics. In this work, I give up the existing methods and implementations of stylization in 3D rendering and create a new language based on the multiplication of color areas and lines. When creating the audio, I use noise as a source signal, which is then used in various types of synthesis. All elements are created with theme self-portrait.
SASHA
Kadaňka, Petr ; Mazanec, Martin (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The main topic of the work is the interpretation of feelings related to the issue of disappearing landscape values at the expense of uncontrolled extensive development of suburban areas. It is a subjective thought product of several years of experience in architectural practice, including, among other things, one's own participation in a similar invasive construction. This empiricism has resulted in the constant questioning of ethical conduct and responsibility. The key terms are suburbanization, urban sprawl, development, satellite town, outskirts, transformation of the aura of a place in „non-aura“. An integral part of the work is represented by considerations about the general position of the object within the hierarchy of (sub)urban space. The object does not mean only positive examples in the form of aesthetic, orientation or vegetation elements. The focus is also on its averted form — waste, utilitarian technical and functional elements or, for example, the seemingly endless colonization of public space by cars. Colonization of our minds. All spatial objects are also psychotropic. Their mental impact can be beneficial, arousing affect or emotion. But what if the objects in the public space are completely missing? The urban object is not far from the position of an artifact, a prop of everyday life, which does not belong to a person physically, but mentally.
Movement
Rišiaňová, Zuzana ; Janoščík,, Václav (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The diploma project Move is a simple 3D digital game in the genre typology of platform games, specifically of an atmospheric-meditative nature, with elements of a walking simulator from a third-person perspective shooter (TPS). Its interactive content is based on topics such as portraits, wandering, meditation, painting and personal mythology. Through the author's stylization of the theme and graphic processing, my goal is to create a playable prototype of a digital game containing interactive elements, with a controllable character named Mo and the atmospheric environment of the levels through which the player passes. Using the medium of digital games, I would like to point out the possibilities of communication means, that it offers within the art world.
Concrete
Andrýsek, Marek ; Kořínková, Jana (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
Concrete is the work, which sets its goal to make connection between digital game and interactive art. Visuals of the work rely on brutalism architecture. Game mechanics is based on options offered by the aesthetics of the architecture. Visual content has been created within game engine Unity and it is controlled thru the custom controller. The controller is based on mechanics of the Rubik's cube. Visually it is adapted to the content of the work. The work is presented as a working prototype.
Analysis and comparison of development indicators of Ukraine and Belarus
Vaněk, Vojtěch
This thesis characterizes and compares the development of Ukraine and Belarus. That includes an analysis of the selected development indicators between years 2000 and 2015, as well as evaluation of the actual level of development. The first, theoretical part, is dedicated to basic definitions and theories of region, regional and sustainable development. Special attention is paid to UN agenda. In the second, analytical, part, firstly general information about both observed countries is given. Then an analysis of the development of thirty socio-economic and environment-related indicators is conducted. The analysis identifies the main issues of development in observed countries while it put a focus on developmental aspects such as economy, poverty and inequality, public health and environment. The conclusive part contains a summary of the research and recapitulates the main outcomes.
Apartment building
Vaněk, Vojtěch ; Nespěšný, Ondřej (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is to design and develop design documentation for a new apartment building with almost zero energy consumption in construction. The apartment house is located in the Krasice district in Prostějov. Krasice is a quiet area with surrounding buildings with dominant apartment buildings and a larger area with row houses for families. The building has four floors and partial basement. There are a total of six dwelling units on the upper floors and separate garages for each apartment on the first floor. The building has a primary staircase around the elevator. The vertical load-bearing structures are designed from brick blocks "THERM" with an external thermal insulation system. All horizontal load-bearing structures and vertical basement walls are made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building foundations consist of cast-in-place smooth concrete strips.
Landscape of mining
Frič, Miloslav ; Ryška, Pavel (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The landscape of surface mining is a visual play that expoits the land on this large format drawing. My work investigates the limits of hanged art piece through the use of video projection and camera. The spectator is not limited by a clear thought framework but urged to experience a visual experience in this very place and time.

Data Processing from Shock Dyno Damper Measurement
Vaněk, Vojtěch ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
In the first part the bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the damper on theoretical side. In the introduction there is a brief overview of the used dampers, furthermore the characteristic values of the dampers, testing methods, and finally the various negative events and influences during the operation of the damper. In the second part, the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of a damper, which was tested on damper dynamometer MTS EMA-234 2K in ÚADI workshop. We will attempt to describe the behaviour of the measured damper or anticipate the damper defects due to the findings from the theory described in the first part.
Totality of LARP
Kloudová, Erika ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
In this work I focused on the possibility to develop LARP in the means of participation and performance. Furthermore, I focus on the continuity of individual games (segments) and the possibility of connecting various, already existing, LARP genres. In this series of games, the most striking of the genres is the political LARP, whose political charge has been intermingled by other LARP genres in my work.
