Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: The goal of my diploma thesis named "Cooperation between special learning centers and kindergartens that integrate children with disabilities" is to point out issues of integration process in common kindergartens.The first part deals with theoretical knowledge in the field and explains technical terms of special and preschool education. Then it focuses on a current legislative framework in Czech Republic which covers integration of children with disabilities into kindergartens. The second part of the thesis is research realized among teachers in preschool educational facilities. Its main purpose was to find how the integration process works and what are experiences of teachers who teach classes where are children with disabilities. The conclusion displays the meaning and how important it is to integrate children with disabilities in kindergartens. Individual integration of pupils with specific learning difficulties in primary school

Bachelor thesis addresses the up-to-date issue of "Individual integration of pupils with specific learning disabilities in primary school". It is divided into theory and practical part. The theory part, worked out from specialized source, defines specific learning disabilities and describes its classification, symptoms, reeducation of specific learning disabilities in general . The practical part describes an example of good practice - Táborská Elementary School, where individual integration of pupils along with specific learning disabilities takes place. It deals, in addition to the characteristics of schools, school counseling department and course integration and several specific examples of the integration.

Anotation TITLE: The Specific of Reading Ability of Young School Age Deaf Children - with a View of Using Adaptated Texts AUTHOR: Klára Ptáčková DEPARTMENT: Special Education SUPERVISOR: Doc. PhDr. Eva Souralová, Ph.D. This dissertation thesis is aimed at the reading ability of deaf children with a view of using adapted texts as a means of improving their reading competences. The thesis summarizes theoretical knowledge relating to a way of communicating and educating deaf pupils in connection with their reading ability, its specifics, development and difficulties. It is focused on adapted literary works, on the methodology of their creation and the different approaches to them. The research uses methods of quantitative analysis that contains systematic summary and evaluation of provided data in connection with the qualitative approach. By the method of text analysis were briefly demonstrated the principles of text modification for hearing children of young school age. In another part there was used an analysis of modified texts in light of their reading comprehension level (using of Mistrík's method). The qualitative approach part of research was aimed at description and defining of specific areas and process of adapted Czech literary works for the deaf in comparison with their original versions. Specifics of speech therapy on children with cochlear implants

Bachelors work: "Specifics of speech therapy for children with a cochlear implant" engages in the issue of children's hearing impairment and in its possible compensation with cochlear implant. It sets an objective of bringing basic information regarding the cochlear implantation issue and the consequent speech therapy, it presents basic methods and principles of work with children, supported by practical exercises. First part of the work consisting of mainly theoretical information summarizes findings regarding hearing impairment, cochlear implant, the pre-implantation period and the whole rehabilitation process after the implantation, including the consequent speech therapy. Second, research part of the work, is focused on outcomes of speech therapy and the speech development of children with cochlear implant and contains case studies of three children processed using qualitative research methods, specifically the dialogue and the observation method

Methods of therapy for developmental dysphasia

The work is mainly focused on the issues of developmental dysphasia and its therapy. The first part describes the development of human speech, then ontogenetic development of man, communication ability and impaired speech development. A separate chapter is devoted to developmental dysphasia, its etiology, symptomatology, and then the therapy. The second part focuses on establishing a therapeutic material, where tasks are compiled according to the individual needs of the reference boys with developmental dysphasia.

The present paper thematizes the complex care for children with multiple disability whitin the educating proces. The theoretical part discusses following subthemes: multiple disability from the point of view of school education, mealtime skills, self-care skills, typical problems within these areas and possible intervention. The practical part maps sklills of the children with multiple disability within these key areas.
