Analysis of technical specifications and possibilities of therapeutic X-Ray systems for non-tumour therapies
Pospíšil, Milan ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of X-rays for non-tumor therapy. It describes the formation of X-rays, their effects on the human organism and its protection. It also summarizes what diseases can be treated with irradiation and on what principle treatment is based. A part of the work is the design of the transportable X-ray station. This station is, in the next chapter, compared with the x-ray workplace in Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute with 10 years of experience. In the next part I deal with a measuring of X-ray absorption with various materials, and a description of the calibration of X-ray systems.
Apartment building, Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav
Králík, Martin ; Osička, Jan (referee) ; Sukopová, Dáša (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the documentation for the construction of a residential building in Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav. The apartment building will be located in a quiet zone of a two-storey building in a future residential development. Residential building is detached. It will be based on flat terrain. The apartment building is L-shaped (it consists of two rectangles). The building has 5 floors and 1 underground floor. There are a total of 19 apartments in the building, technical facilities and storage facilities are located in the underground part of the building. Residential building is basement. The building is covered with a flat vegetation roof. The peripheral above-ground structure is made of therm-shaped blocks, insulated with ETICS contact thermal insulation system. The main entrance to the building is from the northeast side of the building.
Outside noise measuring with Raspberry Pi
Kyjovský, Ondřej ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the measurement of noise from road transport. The goal of the thesis is to get acquainted with the issue of noise measurement from road traffic and the subsequent creation of noise maps. Noise measurement is carried out using Raspberry Pi.
Laboratory exercises for ultrasound medical imaging
Jordánek, Tomáš ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is about ultrasound imaging systems. In the beginning, there are described ultrasonic waves and principles of physics. Next part is about clinical use of ultrasound system. There are described modes of imaging and probes used in practise. Doppler systems are also mentioned. Next part is about evaluation of image. In practical part of my thesis I am evaluating quality of image produced by GE Vingmed Ultrasound System Five REM. From this part had been created a laboratory exercise about basics of working with ultrasound systems. Next semester, I worked with ultrasound produced by 3B Scientific. There were made several laboratory exercises for this ultrasound and they were tested. For scanning in B-mode was made simple construction. Last part was about creating own phantom.
Polysomnographic data analysis
Jagošová, Petra ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on analysis of polysomnographic signals based on various parameters in time and frequency domain. The parameters are acquired from 30 seconds long segments of EEG, EOG and EMG signals recorded during different sleep stages. The parameters useful for automatic detection of sleep stages are selected according to both visual analysis of boxplots and statistical analysis via comparison tests. EOG parameters selected in the time domain were mobility, skewness and kurtosis. Among EEG parameters, aktivity, 75. percentile, kurtosis and mobility were selected. Among EMG parameters, 75. percentile and complexity were selected. Finally, the parameters selected in the frequency domain were relative power spectra in alpha, delta and beta bands.
K-complex detection in sleep EEG
Bjelová, Martina ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
This paper addresses detecting of K-complexes in sleeping EEG records. Polysomnography is the method, which is used for diagnostic and following therapy of many sleep disorders. For identifnging of sleep stages it is fundamental to know graphoelements, in which they are situate. K-complex is important indicator of second sleep stange and hence is essencial to know to detect this pattern. In this paper we focus on design and implementation of more algorithms for detection of these patterns with various characteristics. Among the proposed methods, the wavelet transform method was best evaluated. Performance of this detection reached values the average senzitivity 63,83 % and average positive predictive value 44,07 %.
Detection of Sleep Apnea in Adults
Vrana, Vojtěch ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this work is to construct a device detecting apneic respiration pauses during sleep. The most common cause of apnea pauses is obstruction of the airways, eg, airway collapse. Apnea leads to a deterioration in the quality of sleep and increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. The controller is designed on the Arduino Uno development board. The whole measuring device consists of two circuits for measuring the external manifestations of movement of respiratory muscles and a microphone for measuring the presence of air flow.
Methods for respiration estimates from ECG signal
Mitrengová, Jana ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Králík, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the realization of methods for estimation of the respiratory curve from the ECG signal. The first part of the thesis deals with the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory and cardiovascular system. In this part of the thesis are also described ways of the breathing monitoring. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to the description of individual methods for the ECG derived respiration. The third part deals with the realization of selected methods, application of method algorithms on real data and comparison of resulting respiratory curves with the respiratory signals available from the PhysioNet database. In conclusion, the individual methods are compared with each other.
The Design of Highway Bridge Foundations
Králík, Michal ; Doněk, Michal (referee) ; Boštík, Jiří (advisor)
Topic of this master`s thesis is founding of the hightway bridge, which is located between Lipník and Bělotín. Thesis is aimed for creating shallow foundation and foundation on piles and choosing which option is better. All evaluations have been made without specialized software and than compared with GEO5 results. Better solution will be completed with procedure for construction and drawing documentation.
Multifunctional building Jezuitska
Králik, Michal ; Elešová, Klára (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor) ; Šuhajda, Karel (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is based on my earlier study developed in format AG34, which was further elaborated to a documentation of building permit and execution of the construction. The theme was to propose a polyfunctional house in the center gap of Brno by the Jeziutska street. The gap is situated on a very cut and deep plot where was important to ensure illumination in the central disposition and combine object operations. Since the parcel is in the city memorial reservation of Brno the endurance was put on suitable solution due to the historical stop. The functional content of the building is accommodation and public amenities in the field of culture. The main idea of the proposal was to build a building which will meet all the requirements of the given operation, function and will be a value and an appropriate part of the historic city stop. There was an attempt for a simple and functional form and a minimalist concept of the whole object. This polyfunctional house consists of two functions, public which serves as a gallery and living. The whole object is divided by these functions along the horizontal plane between third and fourth floor. Volume of the construction is based on paddle footprint and the Jezuitska street is adjacent to the sixth floor and the seven-storied. In the central part is atrium along three floors with the lightening and another six floors are following up in the rear part.
