Value - based education using Method Persona Dolls

This thesis deals with Method Persona Dolls, which evolves children's approach and values, it is pre-eminently focused on empathy development, creativity, self-confidence, positive evaluation of others and forms of pro-social behaviour. The theoretical part is focused on the description of curriculum reforms and characteristic of curriculum documents in general, particularly on Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. The theoretical part further deals with this method from the point of view of theoretical principles, methods of its use and contribution, but from the point of drawback as well, which can occur when using this method. The method is also analysed from the point of view of curriculum documents as a possible tool for key competencies development. In addition, it is concerned about emotional intelligence and grade-schoolers emotional development, values and emotion description. Furthermore, the concept of value-based education of Cyril Mooney will be concerned as next item. Both methods are compared and I search for possible linkage between Method Persona Dolls and strategies used in value education. Group Reflection Wanda as a Tool for Teachers' Professional Development

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the group reflection Wanda as an effective tool for teachers' professional development. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is firstly focused on aspects which influence professional learning. Furthermore, it describes its phases, processes, forms and conditions that teachers currently have. Secondly, it analyses and compares the available professional standards in the context of professional development and shows the benefits of using reflection. Thirdly, it analyses the Wanda method itself, which is based on Appreciative Inquiry and Balint group. The practical part examines the benefits and challenges of the method as well as the conditions which are necessary for the proper realization of the method. The data from questionnaires and interviews are analysed from the different perspectives of the facilitators and the participants - teachers and students. The detailed analysis of the data gathered in the focus group results in a proposal of the steps required for spreading the awareness of the Wanda method among teachers. Cooperation between teacher and parents in 1st and 2nd grade of elementary school

1 ABSTRACT This diploma thesis focuses on cooperation between the school and the family in the beginning of elementary school. In the theoretical part of this thesis are introduced concerns and expectations that the teachers and the parents may have at the begining of school attendance, as well as various types and forms of cooperation. The theoretical part uses expertise from Czech literature, but relies on foreign literature too. In some occasions these two resources are compared. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part that is built by teacher's research. This research comes from the teaching practise of the author. Except for the reaserch itself, it introduces some forms of the cooperation between school and the families that are followed by feedback from the parents. Support of inclusive education in Step by Step programme

The diploma thesis deals in detail with inclusive education in the Step by Step programme, especially with the intention to find out what means and arrangements the Step by Step programme uses to promote inclusive education. The theoretical background is focused on defining the key features of inclusive education, describing developments abroad and in the Czech Republic and showing the Finish education system as a good example of practice. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the brief characteristics of the Step by Step programme and compares its main principles with inclusive principles. For a deeper insight into inclusive education much of the work is devoted to analyse the main aspects of current legislation to support inclusive education, which includes evaluation of support arrangements based on literature. In connection with this, the support arrangements became the focus of the research section. The possibilities of music therapy use in the framework of primary education

THE ABSTRACT This diploma thesis aims to analyse the use of music therapy techniques as means to reduce the manifestations of attention deficit disorders. Furthermore, it deals with the application of said supportive measures in the framework of bullying prevention and its pathological effects. It also focuses on ways music therapy can be instrumental in a pupil's personal and social growth. In the theoretical part, the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education is introduced as one of the key changes in primary education in the framework of curricular reform. The chapter also addresses the topic of inclusive education, supportive measures and key competencies. Later on, music therapy is the subject of interest. Its methods, specializations and possibilities of use are listed. The chapter Specific learning and behavioural disorders introduces specific disorders, concentrating in detail on dyslexia, mutism, ADHD and ADD. Teacher Assistant in Primary school

The Master's thesis deals with the issue of cooperation between a teacher and a teaching assistant. In the introduction to the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the concept of integration, inclusion and inclusive education. Furthermore, it also includes the current legislation establishing the function of a teaching assistant, qualification and personality requirements of the teaching assistant and the resulting risks of the teaching assistant's function at primary schools. All this information related to the topic of teaching assistants at lower primary schools is the basis for the research part of the paper, which is done through a qualitative research. The research is carried out at one selected primary school in Prague. The empirical part of the thesis maps examples of good practice, forms of co-operation between the teacher and the teaching assistant, a system of support at the selected school using materials provided by the school, and also focuses on mapping out the difficulties resulting from the co-operation of the teaching assistant and the teacher. Diplomová práce pojednává o využití portfolia pro sebehodnocení žáků ve třetím ročníku, které by mělo plnohodnotně sloužit k běžné diagnostice ze strany učitele a dále by mělo plnit funkci zpětné vazby pro žáka a rodiče při sledování jeho výsledků a pokroků. Teoretická část práce se zabývá vymezením pojmu sebehodnocení a práce s ním v jeho širším kontextu, zejména ve vazbě na hodnocení žáků a diagnostickou činnost učitele. Cílem diplomové práce je na základě teoretických poznatků a výzkumných dat navrhnout a zavést taková opatření, která by posunula stav již existujícího portfolia a sebehodnocení na kvalitativně vyšší úroveň jak po stránce obsahové, tak i v samotném po stránce obsahové i v samotném způsobu práce s ním. Support of school preparedness in the last year of kindergarten

1 ABSTRACT The theme of bachelor's work is to support school readiness in the last year of nursery school. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the period of preschool age and its characteristics. Further, are defined the concepts of school readiness, school readiness, enrolment in the first year of nursery school, postponement of school attendance and its reasons. It is described and analysed pedagogical diagnostics, its methods and support options for children with the postponement of school attendance in kindergarten. The practical part is realized in the research the investigation of the possible ways of pedagogical diagnostics to verify the assumptions of the child before commencement of compulsory schooling. Part of the work are three case studies of children with delayed compulsory school attendance, in which are taken into account, the proposed recommendation of the pedagogical-psychological counseling for the creation of the plans of the pedagogical support, which are directed to the overall development of the child.
Mark's gospel in the Czech Bible translations

Resumé Tato práce se zabývá Evangeliem podle Marka sepsaným v 1. století našeho letopočtu a sledovala 3 základní cíle: vliv překladatelské činnosti na srozumitelnost textu, kvalitu čtenářského zážitku a pedagogické zásady a metody obsažené v evangeliu. Pro ověření srozumitelnosti textu a kvality čtenářského zážitku byla zvolena 3 témata: krátký a dlouhý závěr evangelia, výskyt tetragrammata a práce se slovem "duch", který se v evangeliu vyskytuje ve více významech. Krátký či dlouhý závěr (v některých případech obojí) uvádějí všechny citované překlady. Pro čtenáře je to jistě přínosné, protože mu to dovolí nahlédnout do historie biblických rukopisů. Přestože tyto závěry nelze ověřit jako Markovo dílo, tak s jeho spisem nejsou v rozporu a pouze ho drobně doplňují v souladu se zprávou v evangeliích Matouše, Lukáše a Jana. Těžištěm této práce je otázka tetragrammata v Markově evangeliu v případech, kdy Marek cituje z Hebrejských Písem. Vzhledem k tomu, že v Novém zákoně se výraz Pán vztahuje jak na osobu Boha, tak na Ježíše, je pro čtenáře jistě vhodnější, aby tyto osoby od sebe byly v textu jasně odděleny, a to nejlépe odlišným pojmenováním. Navíc, v citovaných pasážích z Hebrejské části Bible se prokazatelně objevoval JHVH a máme důkazy o tom, že v Kristově době se běžně používal jak v psané, tak v mluvené...
