Design of a model for a mold for injection molding

Bachelor thesis deals with design of input parameters of production of plastic part by injection molding technology. The work includes basic knowledge of materials used in injection molding, the analysis of this technology itself and information about other methods of plastic production. The next part of thesis starts with the choice of specific material, compoment’s running system and the calculation of the basic technological parameters, which related to injection molding machine’s choice. The final part deals with the assessment of the component functionality and the economic evaluation of the production.

The influence of process liquids on the machining process

The content of my study is related to the coolant comparison in machining manufacturing process. Subject of analysis is a company which produce vacuum pumps and machine parts from aluminium castings and billets. My records and final analysis are a recommendation of the suitable coolant for the manufacturing process in terms of their Lean production system´s KPI´s (Safety, Quality, Delivery and Costs).

Theoretical design of the steel production hall

The bachelor´s thesis contains a summary of the steel structural types of the halls and the principles of designing the steel supporting structure of the hall building. The thesis deals with the design of the layout of the hall, the individual elements of the structure, such as columns, purlins, trusses, crane runway and also roof and perimeter cladding. Furthermore, the thesis contains machining and other processes in the production of steel structural elements of the hall. And finally, the technical and economic requirements and costs of the construction of the steel hall are evaluated.

Development stages in CNC machining

This bachelor thesis deals with machining with the use of CNC machines. In the introductory part is outlined a brief historical development of these machines. The following are characteristics associated with machining processes. In the next chapter it is described for machining on the classic conventional machine tools. Followed by the entry of computer technology into the field of machining and its impact. The last theoretical chapter summarizes the capabilities of the current machines CNC machine tools. In the final part is a description of the production of the selected rotational components produced by using CNC lathe.

Lean project management

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of lean project management. It is divided into four main parts. The opening one deals with general principles of project management. The second part includes a list of and a brief description of individual losses within the field. The remaining parts join managers’ practical knowledge with information from reference books. The conclusion contains a custom form which is a basis for an analysis of project work in a company that carries it out. An improvement suggestion follows.
