Christian education in pre-primary education in the Kingdom of Spain

The aim of this diploma thesis was to investigate the position of Christian education in preschool education in Spain and how it is practically applied in preschool facilities. Theoretical part deals with Spanish education system, education of religion in European context, educational legislation with an emphasis on religion and its connection with Spanish state, the specifics of teaching of religion and teacher qualification requirements. The practical part aimed to translate and analyse the content of the Curriculum for the religious area and catholic morality in preschool education. This analysis found out that teaching of religion is a unique way to naturally connect several different educational areas. The second part of the research consisted of case studies of four preschools, two catholic and two public. The characteristics of the visited schools, observations of lessons of religion and three teaching materials were analysed and compared. There were observable similarities and differences between visited catholic and public schools, for example in the way the school presented itself or in the ratio of the number of students attending Religion lessons to Ethics lessons. The thesis is a historical character, therefore it is based on the study of primary sources, i.e., school chronicles and other similar documents, in order to clarify the development of primary school in Výprachtice (Lanškroun district). The methods used will be methods of historical research including methods of oral history. Teaching the subject of religion at the 1st stage of church elementary school through the eyes of pupils

The diploma thesis deals with the religious education at the church elementary school in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the church elementary school, its history and its relation to the Framework Education Program for the Elementary Education and to the official documents and then it describes the religious education itself from the perspective of the aims and contents. The next part describes the participants of the religious education - the teachers of religious education and the characteristics of the children in the 4th and 5th grade in terms of developmental psychology. The final chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to the researches that were carried out in the church elementary schools and in the religious education. The practical part of my diploma thesis is devoted to the research, which was carried out by means of questionnaire method. The aim of the practical part was to find how pupils of the 4th and 5th grades at the church elementary school in Prague view the subject of religious education using the questionnaire construction. The results of the research show that the pupils have mostly a positive relationship toward the subject. They consider it as a rather relaxing and amusing subject. Implementation of the Learning Stories method in pre-primary education in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of evaluating the learning processes of preschool children. The aim of the diploma thesis is to examine the possibilities of implementing the Learning Stories method in Czech preschool education. The method serves as a tool for documentation, evaluation and support of children's learning in kindergarten and is one of the methods of formative evaluation that are used in preschool education abroad. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part characterizes preschool age and its specifics, analyzes the patterns of learning of the child and current approaches to pedagogical diagnostics, its types, methods, means and anchoring in the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education. Provides key information about the Learning Stories method. The empirical part sets the goals of the research and its methodology. The implemented action research consisted of comprehensive work with the Learning Stories method, which is based on observing the child, documenting, evaluating his learning and creating a story (so-called Learning Story) about his learning processes. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the teaching profession in the period of totalitarianism on a particular territory of the Czech Republic. It deals with the period of 1948-1989 from the point of view of teachers and the school system. The theoretical part will give insight into the school structure, legislation, management and the position of primary school teachers in the given period, in the context of Sedlčany. The research part is based on the testimonies of teachers-witnesses of the time. Data acquisition methods are based on characteristic oral history tools. Early Childhood Education and Care in Netherlands

The topic of this thesis is Early Childhood Education and Care in the Netherlands. It brings the insight in the institutions for children up to six years old in the Netherlands. The theoretical part summarizes basic information about the Netherlands together with the conditions of family policy. The main portion of the theoretical part is devoted to the description of the educational system and characteristics of the various types of institutions that provide early childhood education and care of pre-school children. In addition to the principle of the functioning of institutions, the thesis explains the legislative anchoring of pre-school education together with staffing of institutions. The final part of the theoretical chapter discusses current issues and problems of pre-school education in the Netherlands. In the empirical part of the thesis it presents case studies of four pre-school institutions in the Netherlands; each of them represents a particular type of institutional care for a pre- school child. Primary school students' preconceptions of church and their influencing through experience

This diploma thesis deals with primary school student's preconceptions of church influenced by experience. The theoretical part summarizes the findings connected to the issues of children's preconceptions and their importance in the process of learning. It describes recommended techniques of working with children's preconceptions and it informs about factors which influence children's understandings. The following chapter concentrates on the definition of outreach and its value in children's lives. Furthermore, the thesis shows the connection of the term church with the Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education, especially in the section of spiritual and social studies. The next chapter focuses on social studies in general and also on cultural universals as a possible resolution of the issues in social studies. The empirical part describes lectures in a church for primary school students which develop children's understandings of the term church. The diploma thesis suggests an improved design as an innovation of the lectures. Children's preconceptions of church are researched through individual interviews with pupils. Meetings with seniors as an opportunity to teach younger pupils

Rigorous study Meeting up with the senior as an opportunity to teach pupils of younger school age is focused on intergenerational meetings of pupils and seniors in the time of a pandemic, when both of these generations were isolated from the rest of the population. Study contains 9 chapters in total. In the theoretical part in the first 8 chapters, it describes field of intergenerational learning, schooling age, andragogy, educational methods suitable with intergenerational learning, educational goals of children of younger age with the seniors, communication, media activities and their traps in the time of isolation and online schooling and the deprivation of children. In the empiric part, this study is solving the answers to four researchable questions in the qualitative research which was implemented in this case study. Researchable questions are: How does school affect educational process of children? What kind of influence has intergenerational meetings at the development of children educational process?
