Effect of core- training on anterior shoulder instability on semiprofessional rugby players
Kieslingová, Anna ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title: Effect of core training on anterior shoulder instability on semiprofessional rugby players. The concept of the problem: With Rugby Union football being a contact-collision sport there is a high risk of injury incidence, especially for the upper extremities. The anterior shoulder dislocation carries the highest incidence and severity and may frequently lead to an anterior shoulder instability and is therefore a risk factor for decreasing sporting performance. Working with anterior shoulder instability on a complex basis, there are many possibilities to influence this problem and on of them is incorporating a "core-training" program into functional training patterns. In sports, the core provides a foundation upon which muscles of the extremties and their coordination rely. Objectives: To evaluate the incidence of anterior shoulder instability on semiprofessional rugby players and, subsequently, to attest the effectivity of the "core-training" exercise program on anterior shoulder instability of these athletes, on explosive power of the upper extremities and the performance of "medvěd"- an examination of the "Integrated Stabilizing System of the Spine" (HSSP) from Kolář. Methods: The theoretical part follows up the given issue as a research and theoretical overview of the current findings based...

Kinematic of cervical thoracic spine in the context of whole body posture
Vláčilová, Ivana ; Šorfová, Monika (advisor) ; Tlapáková, Eva (referee)
Title: Kinematic of cervical thoracic spine in the context of whole body posture Problematics: This work describes the kinematics of upper thoracic spine during specific movement of the shoulder girdle. The kinematic changes are evaluated with the relationship of the whole body posture. Aim: To develop the objective evaluation of the posture and the amount of the segmental spinal movement of cervical thoracic spine. To describe the relationship between the specific movement of arm - adduction and external humeral rotation - and the posture using 3D kinematic analysis. To objectify this tested movement as a diagnostic tool or a therapy for forward head posture. Methods: The theoretical part of this work summarizes the current knowledge of poor posture and there is defined the upright posture. The experimental part describes the measurement of the movement of shoulder girdle and its response to the axial system using 3D kinematic analysis. Result: The results of kinematic 3D motion analysis show that the external humeral rotation with adduction of the shoulder leads to the upright posture if there is the horizontal position of the thorax and pelvis. The posture was divided due to the physiological or pathological response with this simple movement. Conclusion: A new model for evaluation of the...

Černocká, Michaela ; Prokešová, Michaela (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title: The Effect of Kinesiotaping on Pain Threshold Alteration of Lower Limbs and Pelvis in Latin American Sport Dance Couples Objectives: The aim of this study is to monitor the alteration of the pain threshold in predilective points of lower limbs and pelvis during loaded regime and to compare these changes with the control group with no kinesio tape. Methods: This experimental study employs intervention of kinesio tape applied to inhibit m. gastrocnemius medialis et lateralis and for mechanical correction of hallux valgus. There were five couples in experimental group and five couples in control group. The pain threshold change was objectivised by pressure algometer. Results: The measured data showed that the kinesiotaping has a positive influence on pain threshold in sport dance couples. In most dancers (9 out of 10) kinesio tape contributed to increasing or smaller decreasing of pain threshold with respect to the other lower limb. In comparison with the control group, pain threshold of dancers in the experimental group increased or decreased less even despite acute or subacute injury of the taped lower limb. One more finding is that the postural function has an influence on the pain threshold change after load. Pain threshold had a downward tendency in investigated persons with a worse...
