Statically indeterminate rod systems
Sedláček, Radek ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelors thesis is focused on methods of solving rod systems and that mainly statically indeterminate. At first is mentioned theoretical basis of rod systems, next description of selected methods for solving statically determinate rod systems and then description of methods for solving statically indeterminate rod systems which are demonstrated on model examples. The purpose of this thesis is to consider the possibility of using methods of solving statically indeterminate rod systems nowadays, which is devoted conclusion.
Computational analysis of operational deformations of the diesel engine cylinder unit
Zalibera, Tomáš ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Dlugoš, Jozef (advisor)
Submitted diploma thesis deals about operational deformations in the cylinder unit of turbocharged diesel engine used in commercial vehicles. Introductory part analyses combustion engines computational modelling based on finite element method. The next step is the creation of computational models for thermal-structural analyses of the piston and engine block. In order to determine material characteristics of the head gasket, experiment is performed on the OEM gasket to determine its real behaviour under compressive load. The results shows strong nonlinear behaviour which justifies the decision of making such an experiment in the first place. The results of computational models are radial deformations of the piston and cylinder liners during load conditions. The last chapter deals with the application of these results to an advanced computational piston assembly dynamics model.
Development of combustion engine turbochargers
Franc, Vladimír ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is a research project focused on the development of turbocharger technology for diesel and gasoline engines. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is a general description of the construction, basic principles and key components of turbochargers. Next, the history of turbocharging will be briefly summarized. The third chapter is devoted to particular construction methods and finally new development trends will be discussed too.
Railroad vehicles noise issue
Rydlo, Andrej ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Zubík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis includes research study of railway noise from the view of legislated restrictions and measurements. Different sources of noise are discussed in the beginning while the core of the work processes current noise limits and noise measurements. There is also provided a peek into road vehicles limits and measurements with comparison.
Design of a test rig for the development of gears for passenger car applications
Běloušek, Ondřej ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Czakó, Alexander (advisor)
This thesis is aimed to design of test rig which serves for measuring of vibro-acoustic characteristics of gears used in automotive gearboxes. In the theoretical part, the basic principles of initiated vibrations caused by gear meshing are described, especially due to transmission error as an important parameter. Next part of the paper is dedicated to description of experimental approach used in measuring of this characteristic and evaluation of used conceptual designs is also included. Own designed closed loop test rig allows to measure static transmission error of various sizes of gears even if the shafts are not parallel under the specific operating range. The main part of the design is measuring bench, whose developmental phases are shown, and which carries all important components for the measurement. Thesis also includes modal analysis of those constructions performed in ANSYS Workbench. The main parts of closed loop are described in details and static structural analysis of torsional loading device is done. Final part of the thesis compares analytical versus numerical approach to calculate safety factor of the critical point of a chosen shaft.
Combustion Engines with Gasoline Direct Injection
Schulla, Radek ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of direct gasoline injection in petrol engines. It presents basic overview of pollutants from exhaust gases, functions of individual components of fuel system and their development. Next chapter explains the principle of operation, advantages and disadvantages compared to port fuel injection. The last section is focused on use of direct injection in the future.
Biomechanical studies of total knee replacement and alternatives to the implantation
Majvald, Jiří ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis the historical development of function and contruction of the total knee prosthesis is analysed. It contains an overview of the total knee replacement currently produced in the Czech republic and abroad. The description of the strain stress analysis of the tibial component TKR, which was made using the ANSYS software, is part of thesis.
Composite Bicycle Frame Design
Bartoška, Vojtěch ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Janoušek, Michal (advisor)
This work aims to the design of a carbon fiber bicycle frame with production technology suitable for piece production. The work summarizes the methods of production of composite frames and important parameters that must be respected when designing the frame. A Gravel frame was chosen for the design. The frame was designed for production using stainless steel printed lugs with glued composite tubes. The proposed solution was strength tested. The work also contains a design of a production jig for the construction of bicycle frames.
Computational Models of Transmission Dynamics
Czakó, Alexander ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a summary of knowledge about the computational models of transmission dynamics. Dynamics modelling has different levels of complexity. From the modal, harmonic analysis solved in the FEM, up to creating a virtual prototype in the MBS softwares. In the introduction, there are presented the basics of analytical dynamics and mechanical oscillation which are the basis of individual analysis. Vibration sources in transmission are described as well.
Modern Tractor Transmissions
Bartošová, Daniela ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis concerns an overview of the modern trends in the area of tractors transmissions. It explains the reason why both the power shifts and the continuously variable transmissions. Further on, this thesis emphasizes the innovative elements of transmission concept at selected tractor manufacturers.
