Domestic Violence on Seniors

The bachelor thesis is focused on problem of domestic violence on seniors in the Czech Republic. The aim of thesis is describe and analyze fenomen of domestic violence on seniors, shows reasons, consequences and try to propose some solutions. First chapter is concerned with the definition of senior and ageing. Second chapter deals with domestic violence on seniors, forms, causes and censequences for seniors. Third chapter shows posibilities of prevention and solutions of domestic violence for elder people, especially legislation, action plan and related social services. Fourt chapter describes organization Život 90 and its project, which could be one of the posibility how resolves the domestic violence of seniors. It includes 5 case studies, which concerning domestic violence on seniors. Motivating Alcohol Addicts to Change

The aim of this work is to show that the theme of motivation is a central topic in case of an alcohol addict. Dependence has many dimensions as well as a man has. It hits and changes the whole personality and represents a complicated structure of factors which transcends any medical concept. The goal of this work is to confirm both theoretically and practically dependence concerns human spirituality. Furthermore, it aims to show how complicated the phenomenon of motivation is and to point out connections between the factors influencing changes of an addict and his will and effort to change as well. That is why I focus on personality as a whole at first.. Secondly, I put forth a survey of possible approaches to motivation which I regard acomplicated and complete structure, not only within a frame of psychology but regarding philosophy, sociology and spirituality as well. Like I did on the topic of dependence, I focused on links between motivation and spirituality, too, aiming to account on pastoration possibilities in this field. Burnout Syndrome Problematics of the Rýmařov Region's Social Services Employees

Bachelor's thesis discusses burnout syndrome problematics of the Rýmařov region's social services employees, who work with seniors. Aim of this work is to map out the frequency and degree of burnout affecting social services employees in Rýmařov region. Additionally, thesis considers factors (personal and working conditions) probably involving or affecting creation and development of employees' burnout syndrome. Thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part of the work analyzes definition of the burnout syndrome, its symptoms, stages, associations with other psychical effects, risk factors, which plays crucial role during syndrome's formation, and last but not least, possibilities of help and burnout syndrome's prevention. Also, thesis shortly describes characteristics of the work with seniors and social services. Pratical part includes processing of the structured survey containing two parts: first part focuses on getting personal information and details about social services employees' working environment, second part is MBI survey (Maslach Burnout Inventory), which indentifies degree of burnout in three scales: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The graduation work deals with the issues of syndrom CAN particularly with physical punishment of children as a possible form of abuse. The work is divided into three main parts. The first and the second part is theoretical an there is contained information about syndrom CAN and physical punishments, got by reading professional literature and other sources. The empiric part deals with questionnaire survey and it's results. Respondents became pupils of the sixth grade of Primary shool in Prague and Primary school in Nové Město na Moravě. Neo_Nazism and its manifestations in the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis titled Neo-Nazism and its manifestations in the Czech Republic discusses the development of neo-Nazi scene in the Czech Republic from 1989 to the present. It introduces the definition of neo-Nazism, as a form of political extremism, as well as its ideology and symbolism. Then, it deals with activities that threaten the democratic system and during which there are significant changes, i.e. the new strategy, forms and objectives. The following part is focused on neo-Nazism from the perspective of the Czech police, taking a closer investigation into the activities of neo-Nazis in the Central Bohemian Region. The basic theme is the prevention, which offers a wide range of prevention programs, not only from the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, since NGOs also have their concerns in the issue. Writer introduce basic facts about HIV/AIDS disease in first chapter. She explains difference between HIV and AIDS and she gives information direct to this issue. She describes types of transfer, protection methods, testing types, infection stages and related treatment. Short excursion to history about first occurrence of the virus, way of spread, numbers of infected in present. In next chapter she introduce tools which Czech Republic use to cover this issue of HIV/AIDS. As is National program against AIDS, National referential laboratory for AIDS or AIDS centers. Program Health21 is included. It's aimed to certain number seven. She also goes through some selected pragues organizations, united in non-govermental union and she presents theirs projects in primary prevention at schools. She informs about presentations, peer programs and she concentrates on differences. Than she presents two projects Choose life from ACET and Chat about HIV and AIDS from the Czech AIDS Help Society. Which she desribes in detail and than evaluate and compare due to aim she set up.
The Relapse of Drug Additions in the Civic Association Sananim.

This thesis presents the problem of relapse of drug addictions. The relapse is presented as a possible constituent of the treatment of a drug addiction. It is the moment when client uses a drug once or repeatendly during a short time after the particular time of total abstinence. The thesis examines a process of aftercare which engages in relapse prevention. The most important topic is also a cooperation with client's family because of relapse prevention and as a kind of therapy for them in case of relapse their addicted relative. My thesis presents the relapse as a something natural. It doesn't have to be definitive and a client can make a instruction of it and continue in his abstinence successfully.
