Source analysis and comparation of Feldenkrais inspired movement and visual stimulation using sLORETA
Novotná, Tereza ; Pánek, David (advisor) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (referee)
Title of thesis: Source analysis and comparation of Feldenkrais inspired movement and visual stimulation using sLORETA Objectives: The thesis aim is to evaluate intracerebral source activity during a simple arm movement inspired by Feldenkrais method and to compare it with a visual stimulation of the same movement presented in a clip and with an imagination of the same movement. The movement inspired by Feldenkrais method was simplified to a repeated flexion of the dominant arm. Source analysis was evaluated from EEG and processed using sLORETA program, Methods: To obtain the data, experimental group was put together containing 12 participants aged 22-60, (mean = 27.2), both genders included. Participants were subjected to one-off measurement by the EEG instrument. Feldenkrais inspired movement of a flexion of a dominant upper right arm was investigated. The experiment constisted of six parts: 1. native EEG record with eyes closed and open, 2. active flexion of the dominant upper arm with eyes closed, 3. active flexion of the dominant upper arm with eyes opened, 4. watching video presenting repeated upper arm flexion, 5. dominant upper arm flexion imagination with eyes closed. Every part lasted for two minutes. Between individuals parts was inserted a pause. Obtained EEG data were processed with...
Methane ebullition from Czech freshwater reservoirs
Novotná, Tereza ; Frouzová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Horká, Petra (referee)
Methane is a non-toxic colourless gas created by decomposition of organic materials in anaerobic environments. Such processes take place at bottoms of rivers, dams and water reservoirs. The gas is then released to atmosphere where it contributes to the greenhouse effect. The aim of this thesis is to measure the ebullition flux of methane from selected water reservoirs Vranov and Vír (representing typical water reservoirs in the temperate area), analyze factors affecting ebullition, and compare the ebullition flux among these two reservoirs. The data were obtained via device Simrad EK60 split beam, preprocessed in software Sonar 5, and subsequently analyzed in statistical software R. While there is a great degree of variability of ebullition flux within segments of individual water reservoirs, the total ebullition flux is comparable in both water reservoirs (Vranov: 3,90 ml·m-2 ·d-1 , Vír: 4,22 ml·m-2 ·d-1 ) and not significantly different from each other (p = 0,40). When analyzing possible factors affecting ebullition; the water depth and the distance from the dam, it is necessary to take into account that these two variables are highly correlated which may hinder our ability to separate their effects. Indeed, in both Vranov and Vir the effects of these variables, while significant when studied...
Financial analysis and prognosis of future development PŘÍHODA s. r. o.
Novotná, Tereza ; Marek, Petr (advisor) ; Petriashvili, Aleksandre (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to carry out a financial analysis of the company PŘÍHODA s. r. o. from the year 2010 to 2015, and draw up a financial plan for the year 2016. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, methodical part, there are described methods and indicators, which are applied in the analytical part afterwards. The analytical part consists of introduction of the company, interpretation of results, comparison with recommended values and competition.
The influence of the solution concentration and drying temperature on the properties of spray-dried lactose
Novotná, Tereza ; Svačinová, Petra (advisor) ; Ondrejček, Pavel (referee)
1. ABSTRACT Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of: Pharmaceutical Technology Consultant: PharmDr. Petra Svačinová, Ph.D. Student: Tereza Novotná Title of Thesis: The influence of the solution concentration and drying temperature on the properties of spray-dried lactose In this work, the influence of the concentration of the solution and the drying temperature on the properties of the spray-dried lactose was evaluated. Measurement was performed with three different concentrations of lactose: 15 %, 20 % and 25 %. These solutions were spray- dried at 170 ř C, 180 ř C and 190 ř C. The spray drying method was used and the subsequent particle analysis was performed by using an optical microscope and DSC. The results showed that the number of particles smaller than 2.5 μm was reduced in comparation with the starting material (D-lactose monohydrate), and on the contrary, the number of particles in higher size classes increased. The particles have a sphericity and a shape factor equal to 1, so they have a smooth surface and they are round, which also differs from irregular particles of the starting material. The DSC method obtained by thermograms characterizes the thermal changes occurring in the sample during its heating. The glass transition, crystallization, dehydration and...
Factors affecting success of eradication campaigns of invasive plant species
Novotná, Tereza ; Pergl, Jan (advisor) ; Jandová, Kateřina (referee)
Increasing trade and human movements are responsible for species exchange at large scale causing several negative effects on biodiversity and human socio- economy. Introductions of new species outside their native range by humans, represents the first step in the process of biological invasions. One of the key questions related to biological invasions is how the impact of alien species can be minimized and what are the most efficient ways of management. My work is aimed to collating various information on management of invasive species in Prague, Czech Republic with special focus on identification of how many financial resources are invested to eradications, which species are being managed, and which factors affect the output of management. Several studies have identified key factors that affect the success of eradication campaigns: the spatial extent of the infestation, the reaction time, and the level of biological knowledge of the organism. Socio-economic factors, including the resources invested to eradication, are rarely available, and their effect is therefore seldom evaluated.

This thesis analyzes not only the book itself but also the development and transformation of main characters of the novel The House of the Spirits written by Chilean author Isabel Allende. The work deals with an introduction period of the Spanish-American fiction of the twentieth century, with emphasis on magic realism and related spirituality and historical events of the 20th century Chile. The text also focuses on the general theory of characters and plot outlines and structure of the novel. Furthermore, these findings are applied to the fictional character of this work. The conclusion summarizes the results of the investigation carried out and refuted the thesis of literature Isabell Allende. It is concluded that House of the Spirits clearly belongs to the literature of Latin American post - boom and it means much more than just a simple entertaining reading.

Legal penalties for unfair competition
Novotná, Tereza ; Patěk, Daniel (advisor) ; Rozehnal, Aleš (referee)
Legal penalties for unfair competition This diploma thesis analyzes private law penalties for unfair competition, focusing on the means of protection provided by private law statutes. This thesis also deals with the questions of active and passive legitimacy in lawsuits concerning unfair competition and procedural specifics of these lawsuits. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first charter offers an introduction to unfair competition law by presenting its substantive law provisions: the general clause and the special case clauses. The aim of this chapter is to outline the issue of unfair competition and define actions against which it is possible to use means of protection described in the following chapters. The second chapter focuses on subjects of unfair competition disputes: subjects actively legitimated but also subjects passively legitimated. This chapter also aims to define each of these individual subjects, such as competitors and consumers. The third chapter presents the essential means of protection against unfair competition provided by the Commercial Code. These are namely the claim to refrain from unfair competition practices, the claim to remove unfair competition situation, also the claim to provide damages for material losses, the claim to hand over unjustified enrichment...
