Reasons of location of girls in the diagnostic institution (focused on diagnostic institution plus resort nurture solicitude Praha 4 - Hodkovičky)

This thesis deals with problems of a diagnostic institution and reasons of location of girls in the diagnostic institution in particular. Concretely, it is focused on Diagnostic institution plus Resort nurture solicitude , Na Dlouhé Mezi 19, Prague 4, Hodkovičky. Theoretical chapters are focused on diagnostic insitution in general and even on concrete operation characterization of above mentioned Diagnostic institution in Prague 4, Hodkovičky in frame of a diagnostic staying. Hereafter it is focused on definition and clasification of behavior disorders, approximation of adolescence phase and description of family environment as a social model. Practical part is pursuing realised research and its outcomes - reasons of location of the girls in the diagnostic institution. The final part includes some casual studies containing description of subjective perception of concrete girls to be located.
Possibilities of special-educational intervention for university students with visual impairment

Tato diplomová práce sc zabývá možnostmi podpory vysokoškolských studentů se zrakovým postižením. Mohlo by se na první pohled zdát, že tato podpora již nemá ve vysokoškolském studiu místo. Nejsou žádné instituce podobné speciálně pedagogickým centrům, či pedagogicko-psychologickým poradnám, přesto však je potřeba při studiu jedince s handicapem na speciální podporu myslet a poskytovat ji. V případě studentů vysokých škol již nepůjde o individuálně vzdělávací plány pro učitele, ani není zapotřebí dohlížet, aby jedinec včas navštěvoval svého specialistu z oboru medicíny, ale je potřeba zajistit vhodné kompenzační pomůcky, upravovat studijní prostředí, přizpůsobovat průběh a formu zkoušek. Diplomová práce má pět částí, každá je rozdělena na jednotlivé kapitoly. V první části se práce zabývá vývojem jedince v období adolescence a mladé dospělosti (věk 15 až 26 let). Je zde popsán jak vývoj jedince bez handicapu, tak vývoj jedince s těžkou vadou zraku, který má svá specifika. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Possibilities of special educational support of olfactory perception in people with visual impairment based on olfactory examination

Olfactory sense is considered as one of the compensatory senses in the speciál educational practice. The advanced thesis is focused on examination of olfactory sense in people with visual impairment. In order to fulfil the aim of the thesis, the standardized tests of olfactory perception UPS1T and STT were utilized. Furthermore the tested people were asked their subjective perception in using the olfactory sense in everyday life. 154 probands, 77 individuals with visual impairment (45 men and 32 women) and 77 individuals from a control group participated in the research. The condition for people with visual impairment to join the research was determined if the incidence of visual impairment was for longer than five years and the level of visual impairment (according to WHO, 1992) within the category of low vision, blindness and unqualified visual loss. People from the control group were chosen to match the participants with visual impairment in age and sex. One of the applied methods was the critical analyses of professional literature in order to understand the structure of olfactory analysers, the process of transformation in olfactory information, the level of olfactory perception during the development and maturation of individual, and the function of olfactory sense in people with visual impairment...
Touristic Club by the School of Jaroslav Ježek - leisure activities of children with visual impairment

A Touristic Club for Children with Visual Impairment by the School of Jaroslav Ježek operates with minimal changes for a few decades. The goal of the Club is to organize and support leisure activities for children with visual impairment throughout the year. The activities are supported by volunteers, mainly students. The goal of this thesis is to describe the activity of the Touristic Club and to find out its benefit for children with visual impairment. The knowledge about development of children of primary and secondary school age is summarized in the first part of the thesis, where the main stress is put upon their needs and importance of peer groups. The thesis deals with leisure time and leisure activities of children with visual impairment. Possibilities of leisure activities are introduced as well as organizations which provide them. One chapter is dedicated to the Touristic Club for Children with Visual Impairment, its history, tradition and contemporary situation. The benefit of the Club was surveyed by a questionnaire. Based on the results of the survey, the participation in the activities of the Club is an unforgettable experience for the children. Leisure activities for children with visual impairments deserve further focus.
Games and aids for gravely visually handicapped children and their seeing coevals

Dissertation "Games and aids for gravely visually handicapped children and their seeing coevals" have four parts. The first part is occupied with theory of plays, the second one deal with didactics, compensatory and those aids, which are appointed to plays. The third chapter engages in production of tactile games, books and aids. The topics are materials, that can be used, and things which should be avoided. The fourth part includes illustrations of concrete games, books and aids which are suitable for gravely visually handicapped children and their seeing coevals. The crucial fact is that not a single side is advantaged. This part describes commonly made games which could be used without any editing or with slight editing. There are also placed famous party games, books and aids, which are inevitable to be completely made in as follows special edition. This part contains also games and aids primarily developed for gravely visually handicapped children. But also this games and aids can be used by intact children and all people who play with gravely visually handicapped.
Analysis of not only special-educational needs of a family with a disadvanteged child

In my dissertation, I am adressing analysis of special pedagogic needs of disabled children's families.. I am describing each single sphere connected to this problem in the theoretical part. That includes family, psychical and other needs of parents(as educators) as well as disabled children, special pedagogic and social needs. In the practical part, I adress analysis of mentioned needs, whereas I am issuing two studies of families with disabled children. I am comparing work of vision therapists, professional support which family and child gets, and family surrounding.

Je vodrais décrire tous les aspectes de ceux relations- a partir d amitié, puis facilement etre ensemble, vivre en couple et en fin le mariage- et les trucs avec ces aspectes elués (les enfants et leur formation, les finances en famille,…). Par rapport a grande l imense de ce sujet, je vais me concentrer sur la vue psychologique.
Psychological and special pedagogical strategies acceptance of progressive visual impairment

Diploma thesis is focused on psychological and special pedagogical strategies acceptance of progressive visual impairment. The first chapter deals with the psyche of individuals with progressive visual impairment. It seeks to chart the possibilities of managing this difficult situation. Attention is also paid to the child's personality with progressive visual impairment. The second chapter focuses on issues of progressive visual impairment from a medical point of view. Describes a progressive visual condition of the child and adult age. Further follow up and selected diagnoses affect the human psyche. The third chapter discusses the possibilities of education and education of children, pupils and students with progressive visual impairment. This chapter also deals with the rehabilitation of adults with progressive visual impairment. The last chapter, the practical part of the thesis, deals with analysis of case studies. It's main objective was to analyze the life of a man with progressive visual disability in several areas. Emphasis was placed on how this handicapped people cope with their progressive visual impairment and how to use aids in the gradual deterioration of vision. Finally, attention was drawn to how progressive visual impairment affects the daily lives of people with visual disabilities.
Attitudes of secondary school students to integrate people with special educational needs

The thesis is focused on supporting pupils with special educational needs enrolled in mainstream schools. The theoretical part deals with the specifics of developmental period of adolescence, education and support for pupils with SEN in secondary schools and then their teachers. Practical part is based on research "Special Education in the Conditions of Inclusive Education", which is held under the auspices of the National Grant Agency of the Czech Republic (GA ČR), number of project: GA ČR 406/09/0710. Own part of the research aims to map out the views and attitudes of secondary school students towards the integration of pupils with disabilities into the so-called mainstream schools. Research method is a questionnaire distributed to secondary schools Kladno. The obtained results are analysed and on this basis I try to define and describe the possibilities of support for pupils with disabilities.
Therapeutical dog in a regular nursery

The thesis ' Therapeutical dog in a regular nursery' adverts to the extraordinary relationship, verified by professionals, between pre-school children and dogs. This fact together with carried out research forms the basis of the author's proposal to use canistherapy to aid children's easier adaptation in nursery, accommodate their emotional needs and create a more pleasant atmosphere in the classroom. Activities with a therapeutical dog can bring happiness and alternative educational practices for anxious children, children suffering from behaviour disorders, children from disadvantaged families as well as children with communication problems.
