Industrial building

In the bachelor thesis a project for steel construction of an industrial hall in Brno area is developed. The extent of the ground plan of the hall is 30x63m with maximum height of 17,300m. The main load-bearing structural elements such as suspended purlin, truss bond timber, noggin pieces, solid-poles forming a cross linking with the bond timber, base and crane runway, are designed and considered in the static calculation. The statement of material and design documentation consisting of the design, cross-section, production drawing of a bond timber and selected details are part of the thesis.
Exhibition pavilion

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design load bearing steel structure of an exhibition pavilion. The ground plan dimensions are 30 to 36 metres and construction height is 12 metres. The construction is designed for the district of Brno city. There are the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined in the structural analysis: the solid purlin, panel grider, sway frame, sway bracing and the cross link created by solid columns along with panel girder and column base. The thesis includes documentation composed of layout drawing, cross section, drawing of production and drawing of selected details.
Tenis Hall

This thesis describes design and assessment of the structure of tennis hall of a rectangular floor plan. The building is located in the city of Brno. The project is developed on two variants. The first option is a steel structure with lattice girders. The second option is a wooden construction with glued lamellar girders. The thesis is processed according to ČSN EN standards.
Sports Building in Olomouc

Work deals with design of the steel structure of the sports hall in the Brno region . The hall has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 42 x 24 m and a height 11 m. transverse bond makes a cylindrical truss with a span of 24 m placed on columns height of 8 m. Purlins with span of 6 m are placed on the trusses. Roofing and curtain wall is made of sandwich panels.

Supermarket in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to design and check steel structure of single-nave hall used as a supermarket. Structure is situated in suburban area of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The ground plan dimensions of designed structure are 27,0 m x 52,2 m. The maximal height of structure is 11,315 m. The main load-carrying structure is formed of 10 main frames in distance 5,8 m. The main frame forms shed roof with inclination of 7°. Main frame is made of web-plate columns and truss. Purlins are simply supported on upper belt of truss. Rigidity of structure is ensured by transverse and longitudinal brace. Roof cladding is made of sandwich panels laid directly on purlins. Peripheral cladding is made of sandwich panels as well, it is self-carrying and it is not part of this project.
The steel roof structure of a hall

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design the steel roof structure of a sport hall in the area of city Olomouc. The plan dimensions of the hall are 55,0 x 35,0 m and height is 15,0 m. The solution is chosen from two preliminary variants. The roof construction is on the cross-section formed by the unbalanced circular arc. The main load bearing structure is created by planar circular lattice frames with height 1,8 m, which are hinged on the columns at one side, and on the other side tailed to the underlying structure. Between main bearing arches are solid purlins, which are radially arranged. Spatial solidity is provided by transverse and longitudinal bracings.
Roof Structure of Swimming Pool in Budišov nad Budišovkou

My Bachelor thesis deals with the design and review of a bearing steel structure of the roof of indoor pool building. The construction is of rectangular shape with dimensions of 28 x 46 m and its height is 7.5 m. Bearing structure consists of 11 transversal bindings, placed 4.6m per width of between each. Transversal binding consists of cantilevered columns and jointly set saddle trusses. All the calculations are done according to relevant ČSN EN directives.
Sports building in Bystřice pod Hostýnem

The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to design and statically examine a bearing structure of sports building in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The core bearing structure with ground area measuring 28 x 43,4 m consists of steel frames from rolled sections. Scia Engineer 2010 software has been used to create a three-dimensional model for the purpose of dimensioning each member and global analysis. Results obtained from the computer analysis were double-checked with a hand calculation of a few subelements

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is to design and check load-carrying steel structure of a single-nave hall. It consists of main frames, whose distance between axes is 5,8 metres. Main frame consists of web-plate columns and a roof truss girder. Ground plan sizes of the hall are 34x40,6 metres and maximum height is 12,72 metres. Designed object is situated in Moravske Budejovice.
