Computer Hardware in ICT Education

This diploma thesis studies teaching of computer hardware with it's main goal set in evaluation of the topic's benefit in curriculum of grammar schools. Key aspects of evaluation are relation of topic to the rest of ICT curriculum and other school subjects, background in relevant curricular documents of Czech republic, students' attitude and expectations in regard of the topic determined by survey and comparison of schools' curriculum to topic's structure in literature. Main outcomes are determination of actual form of teaching computer hardware at grammar schools and recommending way of further development thereof regarding students' needs and motivation and variability of teaching methods available. Application of digital learning objects for interactive whiteboard in mathematics

This thesis deals with interactive boards from a technical and didactic point of view. In the theoretical section also discusses the technology of interactive boards. It briefly describes the main repository of Czech history to the present, including the issue of downloading material from them. Analyzes the major Czech digital storage for the needs of mathematics. The practical part is based on the information in the theoretical part. It also described a newly created digital learning objects for the needs of mathematics, whose themes were identified based on the analysis contained in the Czech repositories to a small extent. For a description of each object is described as the conclusions of the deployment of these objects in practice in teaching at primary school during the school 2014/2015.

Application of digital teaching objects for mathematics lessons through interactive whiteboard

The thesis deals with the matter of interactive whiteboards, both from the technical and didactic point of view. It analyses selected Czech online storage sites and maps digital learning materials stored at these sites. Its content is focused on the area of Mathematics and its applications. On the basis of the analysis of digital learning objects and RVP ZV in connection to the particular school education programme for elementary schools, the digital teaching objects were created and described and they were also tested at a primary school during the school year 2014/2015 and the thesis includes the conclusions from their application.

Educational object for English lessons through interactive technology

The theoretical basis of this bachelor is to explain the terminology of digital resources, teaching tools, digital technologies and digital learning objects. The theoretical part briefly describes this modern technology with its specifics and sorts it to several categories. It describes advantages and disadvantages when using in educational process. It shows how to use DLO created by someone else as well as how to create own digital learning objects and the advantages of using own digital learning objects. Mainly it is focused on the English course at Primary school. The practical part focuses on specific digital learning objects and their use in the education. In order to find out if the goals of these digital learning objects are achieved, an experiment was done by using these DLO for teaching the 3rd class. This part reflects information from the theoretical part and could be an inspiration for other teachers when they will create their own learning objects for the interactive boards. Electronic media and preschool children

Annotation: The bachelor thesis deals with electronic media, in particular with television and computer, in context of preschool children. In the theoretical section of the thesis, the role of parents in connection with television and computer usage of preschool children is discussed. In the practical section of the thesis, the results of research are analyzed. The research was carried out with preschool children parents help in Prague, Ostrov and Karlovy Vary. The research was implemented through questionnaires, which were oriented on usage of television and computer by preschool children. As following, the thesis processes hypothesis, positives and negatives are determined from the research data afterwards. The thesis ends with the discussion and the conclusion. Creation of learning objects for interactive whiteboard in math education

The aim of the thesis on the topic "Learning objects for interactive whiteboard with a focus on mathematics" is to explore theoretical aspects and principles of interactive teaching using interactive whiteboards in teaching mathematics at middle school. Another goal is to create interactive presentations of various thematic units of mathematics curricula for middle schools, and educational at the same time with the documentation for these presentations. Description of theoretical aspects deals with of both the very notion of interactivity and learning object concepts and interactive whiteboard. The bachelor thesis emphasized the need to take care when using the interactive whiteboard teaching traditional didactic principles and these principles are explained in relation to interactive learning. The practical part is dedicated to creating learning objects in the environment of the program GeoGebra and the program SMART Notebook for creating presentations. Result of this work is eight presentations created for the second and third year of middle school to take full advantage of the opportunities the program offers.

Homeostasis of man from the point of view of cybernetics and modeling of selected topics in education

Předmětem diplomové práce je kybernetický pohled na některé fyziologické děje probíhající v lidském organismu, které udržují stálost jeho vnitřního prostředí. Cílem je propojení biologické a kybernetické tématiky s možností uplatnění ve výuce na gymnáziích. Jsou zde probírány základy kybernetických metod a postupů, charakteristika živých soustav, vybrané fyziologické regulace lidského organismu, principy modelování a simulace biologických systémů, některé další mezipředmětové vztahy a vybrané didaktické aspekty řešené problematiky. Výsledkem pak je vytvoření názorného mezioborového vztahu (s příslušnou výukovou aplikací), mezi biologickými a technickými vědami, a návrh jeho možného začlenění do výuky na středních školách gymnaziálního typu. Jedním z východisek pro diplomovou práci jsou poznatky z vlastní pedagogické praxe.
