Brand product as a symbol of young participants

This thesis is focused on perception of product brands by the younger generation. In theoretical part there are described expert facts which are related with topic of the thesis and they are necessary for understanding of research part. There are more developed concepts such as: social status, social identity of a young actor, the younger generation and its shopping behavior and also product brand. Research part deals with concrete young collective, through which tries to achieve two goals. The first goal is to find out if the brand fills the brand elements for pupils of primary school and the second one is to find out if wearing Nike shoes is status sign of the pupils. The results of this thesis could be benefit for marketing departments of fashion companies.
Brand product as a source of role identity

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the way a product label forms a customers identity and more precisely the identity of a given social group. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the way a product label contributes to the creation and formation of an individual consumers identity. It involves the analysis of the waya purchase of a certain kind of goods is related to the customers lifestyle or hisbelonging to a certain social group. The author of this thesis intends to capture the purchase behaviour and to evaluate to what extent a product label influences the creation of a customers identity.
Variety of organizations in Žebrák industrial zone and their influence on the social potential of the territory (sociological study)

The thesis deals with the research of the variety of organizations and their influence on the social potential of the given territory. The theoretical starting points are the concept of an organization as viewed from a sociological and managerial approach, variables determining the relation of organizations and human capital, including social potential and the major aspects and theory of regional development. The chapters focusing on the research describe the survey of organizations in the territory, in which the following principal methods of data collection and analysis were used: document study, a semi-structured and non-structured interview and questionnaire. The objective of the thesis is to characterize the studied organizations in the industrial zone and to put their influence in the overall context of the social potential of the territory. The conclusion evaluates the research results and specific recommendations are formulated for further development of the organizations in the given territory and thus the development of its social potential.
Sociopreferential relationships in a working group and the use of their knowledge in the management of organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on working groups, their structure and importance for organizations. The theoretical part is dedicated to organization, primarily its varied approaches and structure, working groups and teams and sociometry with focus on a sociometric test, which is the base of the practical part. In the practical part is realized a research in form of the sociometric test in the chosen working group. The aim is get knowledge of the informal structure of the group. Based on the data from the research is established a comprehensive view on acting of the group members and a functionality of the group as an entirety. Thanks to the gained results are suggested sociotechnical recommendations for improvements of the relationships in the group individually for each member and for the whole group.
Corporate Social Responsibility in the Business Plan of Accounting Organization

The diploma thesis is dedicated to create a business plan using social responsible solutions. First, there is explained therory of organization from sociological perspective, making of business plan and also build social responsibility strategy. Furthermore, from these theoretical findings based on actual market analysis to determine the demand for services, build concrete social responsibility strategy and creation of business plan of accounting organization. From a methodological standpoint, market analysis and findings of the demand for services used methods of studying documents and to determine the key factors in the choice of suppliers of services method personal interview. Generally it was used a mixed design of data collection. Based on the data obtained was then build the company's CSR strategy and business plan of accounting organization.
The Social Stratification of a Municipality

This bachelor thesis analyses the social stratification in the village Příbraz and is divided into the theoretical and the practical section.The theoretical part is dedicated to the social inequality, history of social stratification, stratification theories, social stratification and its associated concepts, measurement of social stratification and the characteristics of the village Příbraz. The practical part of this bachelor thesis deals with methods of sociological research and data collection. Based on the data from research in the practical part of this bachelor thesis are interpreted results of the above survey, according to which are created models of social stratification characterizing social stratification in the village Příbraz. Based on these characteristics are proposed socio technical recommendations for the municipal management.
Stereotypes sell: Analysis of stereotypes in advertising

The introduction of the thesis is devoted to the introduction of the subject and its general description. Concepts such as mass media, TV broadcasting, gender, or stereotype are explained, together with the analysis of Goffman's study - Gender advertisements. The methodical part describes general goals and subjects of the research and also the method that is used. The practical part focuses on the research of the perception of gender stereotypes in advertising by the public, the knowledge of the term and also the influence on the public's purchasing behavior. An electronic questionnaire was used to collect the data from the public. The evaluated data show that the public is aware of gender stereotypes in advertisements, and partly knows them. The public feels positive about it, but it does not motivate the people to buy the product or visit the store.

This theses Brand product as a symbol of young participants is focused on the phenomenon of brands, which is interpreted through its relation to social status. In the theoretical part of the theses there are two contradictory views discussed (T. Veblen's and G. Lipovetsky's), which provide two different points of view concerning contemporary society and the relation between luxurious goods and social status. Through this discussion the thesis provides the characteritics of youth in the context of its developement during the 20th century. Another discussed topic are marketing techniques focusing on today's young generation. In the research part the author aims to find a connection between luxurious brands consumption and the concept of status among young adults studying Czech high schools. Results did not prove this connection to be very strong, and it seems therefore that Lipovetsky's point of view was the one closer to our analysis.
Social Community in Social Networks on the Internet

The main purpose of the diploma thesis is to study the environment and functioning of the selected community Islám v ČR nechceme (No Islam in the Czech Republic) on Facebook. The analysis focuses mainly on obtaining knowledge and information about the links of the group with other subjects on the social network and also on covering the growing interest in the studied group. The analysis is carried out using Gephi and Microsoft Excel software. The results of both analyses bring the knowledge necessary to fulfil the purpose of the diploma thesis. The proposed methods can be applied to analyse groups of various sizes and specialisation. These analyses and information gained in this way may be applied as part of security management, specifically for the study and mapping of extremist groups, which may significantly facilitate the decision-making processes of the security authorities.
Career of Graduates of Faculty of Management with honors

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the career path of selected graduates from the master's program of further study at the Faculty of management after obtaining a honors and whether it can be considered as successful. To meet this goal four objectives are identified: researching graduate professional practices during studies, mapping the graduation of graduates to the labour market, describing the course of careers and determining the graduate's professional success. Data collection is carried out by semi structured interviews with selected graduates. The results are presented by individual areas related to the objectives, followed by a brief summary of the findings. At the end of the work a discussion of the research results, its possible limits and suggestions for further investigations are made.
