Chinese Economic System: Market Economy or State Capitalism?

This dissertation deals with the nature of the Chinese economic system. The first chapter focuses on the global economy and seeks to define the main economic systems prevailing in it, ie. Anglo-Saxon, Continental and Asian-developmental. Compared to these systems defined as market economies, the dissertation consequently analyses and defines a system of state capitalism and the main elements of it. The following part of the dissertation is focused on the historical Chinese approaches to economic governance of the country and attempts to identify those historical approaches that are still relevant and influential in modern Chinese economy. The third chapter analyses the Chinese economic system and the role of the state in it; it also examines the government's approach to the ownership of state enterprises and the overall extent of state ownership in the Chinese economy. The final chapter examines the different types of state subsidies to domestic, often state, enterprises in China. As an example of the various subsidies a case study on the automotive industry is used.

The Bachelor thesis contains two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. In the theoretical part of thesis is deal with brief history of prostitution, it’s developement as in europian measure so as in the territory of present land of Czech Republic, also deal with current situation of legally-taxation treatment. The practical part of thesis is focus on comparation of mention threatment with another europian countries and at the same time suggest how the new threatment can look like or how the old one might be innovated.

Sino-Vietnamese Relations in the Period of Economic Reforms

The bachelor thesis "Sino-Vietnamese Relations in the Period of Economic Reforms" maps the development of Chinese and Vietnamese economics from the union of Vietnam in 1976, through the Sino-Vietnamese war conflict in 1979, and up to formal normalization of their relations in 1991. The emphasis here is placed on the economic reforms, which were introduced by both countries at that time. For China it meant the reform of the Four Modernizations, introduced after Mao Tse-tung's death. In Vietnam it was the economic reforms of renovation called "Doi Moi". The following text offers a view on their bilateral relations, taking into account the most important events that influenced these relations (war with Cambodia, influence of the USSR in Southeast Asia, the Chinese minority in Vietnamese territory, territorial conflicts in the South China Sea). Special attention is paid to the cross-border regions, which have served as a bumper for both the political and economic interests of both involved parties. The aim of this thesis is a historical bibliographical search of the relations in the time of diplomatic separation, and a comparison of the effects of the reforms that China and Vietnam introduced after long years of economic crisis.

Business environment, commercial customs and cultural specifics of Thailand

This thesis looks into the Business environment, commercial customs and cultural specifics of Thailand. First chapter states general information about the country (geography, history, religion, political situation) and describes specifics of business negotiation. Second chapter deals with the development of macro-economic indicators in the context of global economic crisis, the status of foreign relations and nature of local business environment. The third chapter is dedicated to economic cooperation of Thailand and Czech Republic, maps their bilateral relations on the basis of a questionnaire survey and lists specific experience of Czech companies on the Thai market. The final part of the Thesis includes a SWOT analysis of the Thai business environment in relation to Czech economic subjects.

The Economic Connections between the Czech Republic and China

Práca sa zameriava na charakteristiku súčasných hospodárskych väzieb medzi Českou republikou a Čínou. Obsahuje popis vývoja týchto vzťahov v nedávnej minulosti a zaoberá sa predpokladmi, na ktorých sú založené. V práci sú ďalej rozobrané niektoré aspekty, ktoré vplývajú na podobu väzieb, ako je napr. členstvo v Európskej únii, kultúrne odlišnosti a ochrana duševného vlastníctva v Číne. Na záver práca obsahuje analýzu nevyužitých možností vo vzťahu ČR a Číny a náčrt predpokladaného vývoja vzťahov.

Proměny Afriky pod vlivem čínských investic

Čínské investice v Africe stoupají rapidním tempem, aniž by na tento nový fenomén Západ stihl reagovat.Díky Číně se v Africe staví dopravní a telekomunikační infrastruktura, školy, nemocnice, vznikají nové obchody. Čínské investice ale nejsou nezištné. Čína potřebuje ke své produkci čím dál více surovin, a je to Afrika, kdo ji zásobuje. Africe se navíc hodí přístup Číny - nezasahování do vnitřních záležitostí ostatních států.

Specifika podnikatelského prostředí Arménie, srovnání s Ázerbájdžánem

Diplomová práce se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou, podnikatelským prostředím a obchodními zvláštnostmi Arménské republiky. Cílem této práce je především analýza makroprostředí Arménské republiky, s nepatrným srovnáním se sousedícím Ázerbájdžánem. V první části se práce věnuje všeobecné charakteristice jako jsou důležité historické události během vývoje těchto států, geografickou a demografickou charakteristikou. V dalších částech se práce zabývá politickým a ekonomickým vývojem obou zemí, ale také současnou situací. Další část popisuje samotné podnikatelské prostředí včetně charakteristiky trhů a jejich perspektivou pro zahraniční investory. Závěr prace popisuje obchodní zvyklosti obou zemí a rozdíly mezi nimi.

Analysis of intermediary services in the Czech and Chinese markets

V současnosti jsou mezi Čínou a ČR dobré ekonomické vztahy a existuje mezi těmito státy mnoho obchodních příležitostí. Aby bylo možné tyto příležitosti plně využít, hrají velmi důležitou roli zprostředkovatelské firmy, to jsou firmy, které poskytují tlumočnické, překladatelské a poradenské služby a přitom pomáhají svým zákazníkům s hledáním a kontaktováním obchodních partnerů na trzích Číny a ČR. Ve své práci se budu snažit podat ucelený obraz o odvětví zprostředkovatelských služeb na čínském a českém trhu.
