Automatic control of aeroponic system
Šimek, Martin ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is focused on aeroponic system problems and automation. One of the main features of the system is automatic regulation of pH and EC of the nutrient solution which will be achieved by dispensing fertilizers and acids/alcalis with peristaltic pumps. Growing area of the system will feature automatic regulation of temperature and humidity. Regulation of temperature will be provided by heating element which is controlled by embedded system. Regulation of humidity will be provided by ultrasonic fogger. The aim of this thesis is to build a functioning model of aeroponic system which will be able to sustain ideal growing conditions with minimal human interference.
Automatic project code generation in TIA portal
Halata, Roman ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with an automatic code generation for PLC from Siemens. The first part focuses on currently available tools for code generation and options of C# library Siemens TIA Openness. Furthermore, a design for the project structure in the TIA portal is created. Finally, a user application for automatic code generation in TIA portal v15 is designed and created, especially suitable for larger projects that could be divided into individual stations.
SmartFlat peripherials
Chytil, Jiří ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design of peripheral devices of a smart home SmartFlat and the design of communication interface for this system. Designed units are the humidity and temperature measuring unit, the unit of security and the smart socket unit for remote control, power measurement and power control. All units are designed for wired communicaton and also for wireless communication with control unit.
Simulators of boxes, parking and drill laboratory models in Control Web
Jaroš, Jiří ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is creating of simulations and simulators of three laboratory models such as box sorting machine, parking lot and pedestal drill in a Control Web. According to the model tasks in the TIA programme, there are also samples of control programmes created. Used programmes, individual models, control electronics, all of the simulations and simulators are described here. Control programmes created in the TIA Portal are also included in the attachment.
Automation of the farming system
Šimek, Martin ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of the Internet of Things and its use in the automation of gardening areas. The processes that are necessary to maintain the operation of gardening facilities are both physically demanding and time consuming. The aim of this thesis will be to design a system that will reduce the need for human intervention in performing these processes. The main prerequisites of the proposed system include the modularity of the whole concept. The automation of the gardening areas focuses mainly on the irrigation system, which will be controlled by the designed wireless modules. These are STEM-01 modules which have the task of measuring soil volumetric water content, soil electrical conductivity, soil temperature and ambient temperature and relative humidity in the area, BVM-01 modules which provide irrigation in the required area and last but not least FDM-01 modules with which it will be possible to enrich the water located in the drip pipe and used to irrigate the mentioned areas with mineral fertilizers.
Analysis of Pilot's Behaviour Models During Flight
Jirgl, Miroslav ; Štefek, Alexandr (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with human – pilot behaviour modelling during a flight in terms of automatic control systems. For these purposes, the introduction to the issue of description and modelling of individual components of the whole pilot – aircraft interaction is presented. Based on that, the simulation models obtained from real measured data are designed. However, the acquisition of the real flight data is quite difficult. Therefore, the flight simulator at Brno University of Defence is used for the purposes of this work. Several experimental measurements were taken using this simulator. These were focused on measuring pilot’s reactions (responses) to visual stimulus with emphasis on obtaining judgements about their current state of training (in terms of dynamic behaviour) as well as attitude to aircraft control. In this phase, two sets of measurements with eight pilots were taken. On average, the pilots had 60 flight hours before the first set of measurements and about 80 flight hours before the second set. The obtained results are analysed using mainly the theory of automatic control approaches in order to evaluate the actual state of pilots’ abilities considering the effects of flight training.
CAN Protocol for Automation
Verčimák, Mário ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis describes basic properties of CAN Protocol. Next point of this thesis is implementation of CAN protocol into Kinetis microcontrollers with use of Kinetis Design Studio. Thesis also describes real application for CAN communication testing. Measurement is realized in school and real industrial conditions. Next point is implementation of real time operating system MQX and creating a task for CAN communication.
Continuous/Batch production in Industry 4.0 environment
Ručka, Petr ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis named Continuous/batch production in environment Industry 4.0 deals with software and principles that are designed for discrete manufacturing and their application to the continuous and batch production. First, the functions and properties of individual programs for discrete manufacturing were descripted, then this acquired knowledge was related to continuous and batch production. On the basis of the gained knowledge, a program for the processing of liquid materials with using two tanks was created. This program is aimed at customizing of the final product.
Software Framework for PLC Program Standardization
Hrubý, Otto ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with standardization of PLC software used in company. The aim of this thesis was to design program for single-purpose machine used in assembly process and communication program to allow machines to be used in Master-Slave system as Slave. The programs use elements from IEC 61131-3 to make them portable among different integrated development environments. The software was designed to be easily reusable and modifiable for different machines.
Industrial data collection system
Hvizdák, Lukáš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The master thesis focuses on the design and implementation of data collection from production using a PLC into an SQL database located in the cloud and subsequent visualization. The work describes the applicable communication protocols MQTT and OPC UA with the fact that the protocol MQTT was selected. It deals with securing data transfer from the line to the cloud using the TLS protocol. The individual cloud services and their possibilities for data collection are described here. The work deals with the possibilities of data visualization using existing open source solutions and the differences between them. I describe the possibilities of modifying the open source environment of the Grafany project. Real dashboards from production are presented. The data collection system was deployed in two plants for testing.
