Application of anti-friction bearings for four-stroke internal combustion engines

This thesis is concerned with the anti-friction bearings and their application in the construction of the four-stroke cycle internal combustion engine. Thesis consists of several parts. The first one is concerned with the anti-friction bearings themselves. This part provides basics of theory of the anti-friction bearings needed in the next parts. In the next part is described the use of the anti-friction bearings in the internal combustion engine. Last part is concerned with the use of the anti-friction bearings in the construction of the four-stroke cycle internal combustion engine. There is described mounting of crankshaft, connecting rod, camshaft, balancer shaft and turbocharger.

Non-traditional Motorcycle Conception

The goal of the thesis is to introduce some interesting and non-traditional conceptions of motorcycles from the present and also from previous years. In every part reasons are described that led producers of these motorcycles to design conceptions that might be perceived as almost absurd. However not every one of them was forgotten and some succeeded on the roads and race tracks, others will be perhaps successful in a few years. Every part also includes a description of the construction and function followed by the assessment of individual solutions according to their justification, realization, number of pieces sold or race results.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to cover current trends in development of propulsive units of personal automobiles. The introduction describes combustion engines and divides them into categories. The next chapters describe current development of gasoline and diesel combustion engines. The conclusion is aimed for the perspective view into the future and the problem of alternative propulsions.

The aim of this thesis is description of two-stroke road racing motorcycles dated from first race in GP championship to present, including en explanation of next probable development in future. Thesis deals with development of particular main parts of two-stroke combustion engine over time too and its influence for modernizing two-stroke motorcycle for daily use.

Arrangement of Piston for BMW 2,5 TDS 4-stroke CI-engine

In this bechelor work presentation and design a four-stroke piston diesel engine with direct injection diesel by 130 kW, which is used in BMW vehicles. When choosing key dimensions come out of the original dimensions of the piston, used in diesel engine with indirect injection into the vortex chamber 105 kW of power. The draft of the main dimensions of the piston followed by strength calculation of the critical points of the piston.

This thesis is a treatise on two-stroke diesel aircraft engines. Describes the principle functions of two-stroke diesel engine, its differences from the four-stroke engine and petrol engine. It also deals with the historical development of two-stroke diesel aircraft engines in the context of the development of piston aircraft engines in general. Indicates the best-known two-stroke diesel aircraft engines and outlines possible development of this type of engines in the near future.
