Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

The project respects the original conception of the garden to create space closed against surroundings. In the Holland garden I create one building that contains galery, café, bookshop and education center. The groundplan shape results from the axes of the Floral Garden. The Holland Garden is a changing space, variable is the inner disposition of the building as well. In the south part I project glasshouses, outdoor patches, a workshop building, water atractions and a voliere for keeping birds. The groundplan solution of this part goes out from the groundplan of the building in the Holland garden.

Student Bc. Michaela Ráčková in her diploma thesis will be deal with a phenomenon of revitalization of church buildings, especially design of reconversion of the former vicarage and its surroundings in the village Přítluky in South Moravia. Church buildings as churches, vicarages, convents have always been determining and dominant element in the formation of settlements. Their clear and often privileged position in the structure of settlements was determined by relationship of man to faith. This position remained them despite many ups and downs and church buildings still play an important role in the environment in which we live.

The object of metropolitan significance on the street Benesova Brno

The challenge of this project was to design an object or set of objects metropolitan character in the specified location. Solved territory includes the area bounded streets Benesova and volatile, which is located close to the historic center in the urban conservation. The object of this work was the solution to the northern tip of the specified area. The underlying motive was to complete my proposal and establish the territory of the current Brno Ring - Circular class. Conceptual solutions to the urban situation based on analytical studies of planning documents of Brno. A direct connection to the street circuit built this place to position the everyday representation of the city itself and the historic center for a large proportion of tourists and residents of Brno.

‘‘Pilsen – a Hidden Potential of Rivers and Quays‘‘

Student Martin Mareš will be dealing with a phenomenon of quays in the city of Pilsen. The chosen place is situated in the wider range of the city centre touching the Radbůza river. The key to bring a life into this area doesn’t have to be just the quay of the river itself. The specific object of the diploma project will be specified or adjusted after agreement with the head of diploma project.

Student, Bc. Lenka Dubská, in his thesis will deal with the issue of waterfront in Brno. On closer site selection and exploration of its potential has chosen Svratka river banks in the territory as defined Hněvkovského streets, Kšírova and on the south street Sokolova . The key solution space could be not only a waterfront. In addressing and finding solutions to the waterfront development to be examined factors that are key to the whole territory of influence. The focus of the thesis will be specified or may be modified by agreement with the supervisor.
