Sino-African Economic Relations

Together with growing influence of China on the political end economic map of the world, Chinese foreign activities are being intensified. In recent years Chinese engagement in Africa, which raises wave of conflicting opinions, is becoming widely discussed topic. Even though the beginning of Sino-African relations dates back to the medieval times, their genuine cooperation is booming as late as the last decade. China, growing economic giant, tries to secure its run on raw materials, to find new markets for its products and to get new supporters for international negotiations. By contrast, African states search for investors who are willing to invest to their unsteady environment. Thus their cooperation can be profitable for both regions. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to adopt an attitude which will analyse the character and content of the China's role in Africa.
China's economic development in the 21st century: problems and perspectives

This paper focuses on China in the new century and actual problems which chinese economy faces. For better understanding of contemporary growth is this paper concerned with important history moments of chinese history. The actual situation of chinese economy is analysed with rate of GDP growth,development of international trade and foreign direct investments. The main part of this paper is focused on actual problems of chinese economy. Especially on chinese export-oriented economy, bad condition of banking sector, decreasing quality of environment, high consumption of resources and difference between chinese regions. Last part of this work is about the influence of the crisis which has started in 2008 and has great importance in actual development of chinese economy.
Multinational corporation in the process of globalization

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of multinational corporations in world economy, in the context of globalization and internationalisation. It tries to discover their impact on contemporary human society. Further emphasis is put on research of historic context and predecessors of present transnational corporations. An attention is also paid to the globalization itself.
The International Monetary Fund and its role in Financial crisis

This bachelor thesis analyses Fund's activity in financial crises and aims to review the effectiveness of the IMF. In the first part there is introduction of the IMF. Its structure, financial resources and instruments which are used in solution of crises are described. In the second part, there is analysis of Fund's role in the selected crisis of 90th - Mexican crisis, crisis in south-east Asia and crisis in Argentina. In analyses, there is always stated a characteristic of the crisis and then evaluation of the role of the IMF. Emphasis is placed on criticism that the IMF's measures have evoked. In the last chapter there is briefly stated the current financial crisis and Fund's participation in it. The thesis also outlines future development of the IMF.
The implementation of structural funds of the European Union in the cohesion regions of Central Bohemia and Central Moravia

The thesis deals with economic and social cohesion of the European Union. It describes historical development and current programming period including operational programmes, their goals and priorities. The main objective of the thesis is, based on the analysis of strategic documents of cohesion regions of Central Bohemia and Central Moravia, to evaluace the capability of drawing financial means from EU structural funds.
Developement Aspects of Trade Liberalization : EU-ACP Relations

The thesis deals with the trade liberalization among unequally developed partners and its development issues. At global level it refers to WTO development agenda, however, at regional level it focuses on north-south trade agreements, particularly on EU-ACP relations. The aim of the thesis is to analyze these relations and the way and scope of how they have contributed to economic growth and welfare of ACP states considering both static and dynamic effects. It also evaluates opportunities and threads of Economic Partnership Agreements.
Crisis and recessions in the context of globalization

In the first chapter, there will be described 4 different types of crisis. Second chapter will be focused on globalization in general and on development of globalization in last 150 years. Third chapter will be focused on integration of particular economies and markets (focusing international trade, capital flows, TNC and FDI). In the fourth chapter, there will be described 4 different crisis in the context of globalization (Great Depression in 30's, Oil Shocks in 70's and 80's, Asian financial crisis in 90's and Global Financial crisis 2007-?).

Presented bachelor's thesis entitled "The role of investment in economic growth of Russia" is engaged in investment characteristics and their dynamics, structure and meaning that lies in the fact that they are a key factor in the implementation of scientific and technological progress in production, a key factor in raising the rate of economic growth, or potential growth rate. The aim of this work is to characterize investment in Russia in various cross-section and their dynamics, in connection with the fact that these investments are a key factor in increasing the rate of growth of potential output. The bachelor's thesis also aims the factors that operate in Russia against investment and therefore these factors slow down the pace of economic growth.
