Additional theatre activities
Janková, Markéta ; Svobodová, Doubravka (advisor) ; Srstka, Jiří (advisor) ; Čuříková, Tamara (referee)
This thesis deals with additional theatre activities. I define the term ?additional activities? in the context of Czech laws in effect in the first part of the paper. Laws regulating all possible legal forms of theatre companies and their duties in differentiating and separate accounting of additional activities are especially brought to readers? attention. In the next two parts of the paper I examine tax laws (income tax law and value added tax law in particular) and trade law, which are closely related to additional activities. Ways of applying additional activities in practice in chosen theatres are described further. In these chapters I don?t limit myself to side activities run by nonprofit companies by law. I also notice similar activities of theatres operated like commercial enterprises. I analyze and summarize information raised in investigated theatres and point out main imperfections of legal system on final pages.

Menzelová Kelymanová, Olga ; Čuříková, Tamara (advisor) ; Kraft, David (referee)
This thesis describes my experience with production of and fundraising for open air exhibitions. These are particularly large photographic exhibitions located in city centres accessible for free for all visitors. The thesis is aimed at description of production of these exhibitions and opens the topic of fundraising under the Czech conditions. Such an exhibition production involves the whole project from the very beginning, i.e. from addressing the author of the photographs to contracts, from arrangement of all necessary permits, hiring staff, manufacturing of photograph stands to the complete financing of the whole project. The thesis also deals with fundraising in the conditions of the Czech Republic. I would like to work out the topic, which has not been much elaborated in the Czech Republic more openly in the continuing master project (study).
Floods in Dlouhá
Švecová, Aneta ; Čuříková, Tamara (advisor) ; Měřičková, Eva (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the period which influenced The Theatre on Dlouha Street and its activities for more than one year. The period under consideration starts on 14th of August 2002, when the theatre building was flooded due to the damaged sewerage, and ends by a gala re-opening evening of The Theatre on Dlouha Street after a general reconstruction on 24th October 2003. This work aims at summarizing information and data which refer to and describe the way of solving the crisis situation. I tried to focus on every aspect of the theatre activities which were influenced by the floods. That?s why therefore I dwell on the first moments and salvage operations immediately after the floods, the alternate crisis plan for staging, the bill of damages and costs of reparations, conditions of temporary playing in alternate spaces in other theatres where The Theatre on Dlouha Street moved, the way the tickets were sold, financial resources for the theatre and the theatre building reconstruction.
