Design of a New Filter Structure Employing Devices of Fractal Order
Detko, Adam ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Bečková, Zuzana (advisor)
This thesis deals with fractional order analogue filtration structures. The first part focuses on theory of analog frequency filters, including fractal order. In the next part, some of the active elements that can be used in frequency filters designing are mentioned. In the third part, known integer order filtration structure working in current mode is shown, which is modified to fractal in the next part. Modification to fractional order filter is realized by the RC structure Foster I, which approximates fractal order element, also known as pseudocapacitor. This part also contains calculations. Next part contains simulation results, that have been made with ideal models of active elements. The fifth part deals with the design of original filtration structure and its subsequent modification to fractal order filtration structure. Last part contains results of simulations and their comparison with the theory and for low pass as well comparison with physically measured values.
Differential and pseudo-differential filtering circuits
Hrbek, Tomáš ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Jeřábek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with analog frequency filters operating in differential and pseudodifferential mode. It is focused on active filters second order that use modern active elements. For specific solution is analyzed the ability to control filter parameters. It also deals with the design of fully differential filters and transformations from non-differential filters. The thesis analyzes three specific filtering solutions with which ideal simulations and simulations using third order models are performed. A printed circuit is constructed for one filter solution, its parameters are measured and compared with simulations.
Laboratory exercises in Riverbed Modeler simulation environment
Lojek, Stanislav ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This semestral thesis deals with the creation of a laboratory exercise for the course of Communication Technology. This course is designed for Teleinformatics in bachelor's degree program and should provide students with basic knowledge of network protocols and technologies. For this reason, the thesis deals with basic transport protocols, protocols for transmission via backbone networks and network layer protocols. The introductory part introduces the OPNET design environment, more precisely its free version of Riverbed Modeler Academic Edition 17.5, where the design of the laboratory exercises is done. The second part is a necessary theory to the exercises. The lab exercise is focused on differences in TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol) protocols. The second laboratory exercises is focused on technologies for transmission mainly on WAN (Wide Area Network) namely ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) and Frame Relay. The last proposed exercises deals with the two most prominent Internet protocols that are used for communications IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4) and IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) protocols. Guides for students have been created for this task, and at the end of each part, the complementary tasks and questions are given to students in oder to test the gained knowledge of the discussed issues.
Measurement of PlanetLab experimental network
Andrašov, Ivan ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This thesis deals with measurement of transfer parameters for nodes in experimental network PlanetLab. In theoretical part of this thesis we analyse experimental network PlanetLab, basic terminology in this network, its goals and some current projects run- ning under this network. Next we analyse measured network parameters specifically Ping, SSH delay and respond to SCP. Practical part of this thesis is formed around real im- plementation of measurement where in specific sub chapters are written exact problems of said parameter together with source code.
Code Generator for RedDeer Test Framework
Jelínek, Dominik ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the design and creation of a new Eclipse plug-in. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the architecture of the Eclipse development environment, discusses Java graphical libraries and explains options for extending the Eclipse development environment through its own new plug-ins. Next part of the thesis describes types of application testing and presents ways of application compiling. Practical part of the thesis explains the development of a plug-in, details of internal logic for code generating and describes the implementation of the designed solution for the code generator for the RedDeer Test Framework.
FPGA controller for LED video display
Dolejší, Miloš ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with controlling a color graphic LED display using an FPGA. The first half of the theoretical part of this paper describes the properties of the used FPGA, the data source and a principle of controlling an RGB LED display. The second half describes an implementation of pulse width modulation and binary code modulation which enables the control of brightness of the display and of color depth of every sub-pixel. The practical part on the other hand describes the designing and the implementation of this module in the VHDL language. Then it explains the transfer of image data from Blackfin processor to the memory via PPI interface, the subsequent process of reading data from the memory, conversion of the data to a serial format and finally it describes the process of sending the data to the LED controller. The module was realized on the Digilent Atlys development board equipped with the Spartan-6 FPGA and was tested on a 32x20 light panel for the firm Ing. Ivo Herman, CSc.
Active Filters and their Transformation to Differential Structures
Bečková, Zuzana ; Herencsár, Norbert (referee) ; Vrba, Kamil (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is considered with transformation of single--ended frequency filters to fully--differential structures. Theoretical part contains a brief introduction to frequency filters and short summary of important features of signal flow graphs. Active elements, which are used in designed filters, are shown in the third chapter. Practical part of the thesis shows five single-ended filters (one already published, four newly designed) and their transformation to fully-differential structures. Results of simulations in programms OrCAD and SNAP are shown.

Diplomová práce obsahuje stručný teoretický základ pro designéra/ku A/D převodníku v technologii CMOS a přehled architektur A/D převodníků používaných v automobilovém průmyslu.
Collective buying like a modern marketing tool
Halásová, Lenka ; Zamazalová, Marcela (advisor) ; Bečková, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis deals with a new trend and a marketing tool -- collective buying. The aim of the work is to describe this trend from two different perspectives and to provide a short-term forecast. In the theoretical sections, we give overview of the history of collective buying, basic terms from the field, and the current situation in the Czech Republic and worldwide. We continue with sections describing the operations of a specific company from the field, BonyBony, which entered the market in September 2010. Author of this thesis has been employed in the company since its founding. In these sections we describe basic operation of the company, marketing tools used and advantages over the competition. The future of companies dealing with collective buying is uncertain; many of them are in red numbers. The last part of this work therefore tries to project the short-term forecast for this company using expert view based on the data acquired from a survey.
