Energie rázové vlny vzniklé při růstu bubliny ve vodě a generované při jejím kolapsu
Müller, M. ; Maršík, František
The Kirkwood – Brinkley theory of propagation of spherical shock wave is used to evaluate the amount of the energy transformed into the shock wave generated during the rise of cavitation bubble generated by Nd-Yag laser. The energy was according to the theory calculated from known shock wave velocity, shock wave position and shock wave pressure-time profile at the defined position. Method of characteristic in the Kirkwood – Bethe modification was used for the calculation of the shock wave pressure time profile. The initial conditions for the calculation of the outgoing characteristic were obtained by solving Rayleigh-Plesset equation in Gilmore modification.
Přechodové teplotní pole v komoře pro měření povrchového napětí podchlazených kapalin
Hrubý, Jan ; Müller, M. ; Richtr, K. ; Mareš, R.
Results of mathematical modeling of the transient temperature field in a new chamber developed to measure surface tension of supercooled liquids are presented. The chamber is designed to enable a very fast (within 0.1 s) formation of a homogeneous temperature field (within 0.02 K) after a temperature jump of 60 K. The interior of the chamber of dimensions 20x16x32 mm is filled with dry nitrogen surrounding the measuring capillary and thermometers (very fine thermocouples and RTD’s). The temperature jump is generated by switching the flow direction of the nitrogen serving as a heat transmitting fluid. To reduce the thermal boundary layer near the bottom and ceiling walls, they are made permeable and some gas is sucked out. The flow in the chamber is laminar. We compute the temperature field analytically and numerically, using the commercial software Fluent. The results indicate that the design objectives of the experimental device were met.
On Design of Low-Re Airfoils and Aspects of Boundary Layer Control
Popelka, Lukáš ; Müller, M. ; Nožička, J.
The contribution shows results of mutlicriteria design of airfoils. Results of numerical solution of flow field past single element wing sections and with flap are presented, possibilities of flow control are given.
Vícekriteriální návrh leteckých profilů pro kluzáky
Popelka, Lukáš ; Müller, M. ; Matějka, M. ; Nožička, J.
The article presents results of multicriteria design of airfoils suited for sailplanes. Airfoils for root and tip wing section as well as for empennage has been designed. The use of turbulators has been proposed on two older airfoils and the possibilities of drag reduction has been discussed.
Hydrometeorological droughts in the Czech territory since 1851
Kakos, Vilibald ; Müller, Miloslav
Variously long periods of precipitation deficit were studied. In the 20th century, the most intensive drought period was first half of 30s. Nevertheless, the drought in first half of 60s of the 19th century was even stronger from the viewpoint of precipitation as well as outflow characteristics. Hydrological droughts arise generally later than precipitation deficits as was shown by comparison of both types of droughts.
Rozložení energie v kavitační bublině během jejího růstu a kolapsu
Müller, M. ; Maršík, František ; Garen, W.
Shock wave generation during the bubble growth and collapse and the corresponding energy separation were investigated experimentally. The calculation of the shock wave energy was based on the experimentally determined shock wave velocity profile. The possibility of using the similarity solution to determine the shock wave intensity is discussed. The velocity field around the collapsing bubble was visualized and compared with the numerical simulation using the commercial FLUENT code.
Application of data envelopment analysis to the performance assessment of bank branches
Müller, Martin ; Jablonský, Josef (advisor) ; Šindelářová, Irena (referee)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to describe an application of data envelopment analysis to the performance assessment of bank branches. The bank has used, in the first half of the year 2007, two DEA models: DEA model with the purchasing power as an implicit parameter and DEA model with the economic potential as an explicit parameter. I have used for the calculations different models, which are stated in the literature, (i.e. CCR model or BCC model), because in data received from the bank was the influence of the purchasing power already involved. Next purpose of this thesis is to summarize theoretical basis of DEA models and also this theoretical basis put together with existing foreign studies.
Changes in organizational structure in relation with the implementation of BPM
Šveřepa, Jaromír ; Kunstová, Renáta (advisor) ; Müller, Miroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis aims to describe changes in the organizational structure that are necessary for the implementation of Business Process Management in the enterprise. These changes are simultaneously a reflection of the implementation. In the first part of the thesis the author defines the principles of Business Process Management considering the history of BPM. The author is analyzing reasons of past BPM concepts' failures and evaluates the current state of process management. The second part of the thesis pays attention to organizational structures and methods of organizational management. The author compares the traditional functional management with new process management approach exploring differences between them. The author appreciates applicability of different organizational structures types for Business Process Management and highlights problems between a specific type of organizational structure and BPM. In the last part of the thesis the author suggests organization changes for BPM implementation and defines prerequisites for successful transformation into process-managed organization. The author emphasizes the common risks and problems and suggests their solutions.
Analysis of czech insurance market and prognosis of its future development
Müller, Michal ; Gruber, Petr (advisor)
This bachalor thesis is concerned with the insurance market in the Czech Republic since the very beginning of "insuring" until the modern days, when the domestic insurance market is integrated into the European Union. The thesis comprises four individual parts. The first unit deals with the development of insurance system. The following chapter relates the contemporary situation of the Czech insurance market. In the third part, the Czech insurance market is compared to the markets of other countries which joined the EU in 2004. Besides that, an analysis of present period of stagnation of the insurance market is introduced. The last chapter contains the principles the European insurance market is based on. It also embodies the gradual process of integration of the Czech insurance market into the EU.
Teritorial and Commodity Structure of the Foreign Trade of the Czech Republic
Müller, Michal ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Černá, Iveta (referee)
Práce se zabývá tématikou zahraničního obchodu České republiky se zaměřením na teritoriální a komoditní strukturu. Největší pozornost věnuje období vstupu ČR do EU a změnám zmíněných struktur během těchto let. V této části je odhalen např. pozoruhodný vývoj vztahů s Velkou Británií. Poslední část popisuje i samostatné členství ČR v EU a naznačuje nastolené trendy, které je možno v našem zahraničním obchodě pozorovat.
