Modern methods of tube- and profiles bending
Zouhar, Ondřej ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The project elaborated in the framework of Bachelor's study presents a survey of modern methods in the field of bending tubes and profiles. On the basis of literary evidence relating to the bending of tubes and profiles the list was created to summarize all the currently used modern technology in this field. The work covers the theoretical part of the time horizont of the oldest methods of bending to the present methods. In the theoretical part are given the most modern machines used to bend tubes and profiles.

Borovan, Tomáš ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
ABSTRACT BOROVAN Tomáš: Machines and tools for adjusting the pipe ends. This publication presents an overview of the methods and treatment technology pipe ends. It includes description of each method and its use. Part of the work is also an overview of machines and tools that are used to end forming. The work does not lack of appropriate documentation pictures.
The bend profile manufacturing by combination dies
Kummer, Michal ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the creation of the technological process for shelf clutch production. The shelf clutch will be made of material 11 321 by cutting and bending technologies. The first part of thesis includes the theoretical description of cutting and bending technologies. The second part contains calculations and design proposal of final combined cutting and bending tool and also selection of pressing machine. The thesis contains the unit block layout of the combined cutting and bending tool and detailed drawings of cutting and bending parts of the tool. The shelf clutch drawing is included too.
Joining components by forming technologies
Hudeček, Marek ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The project elaborated in frame of bachelor's degree B-STI gives an overview about methods of joining parts primarily made from sheet. Most of these methods are implemented by cold forming technology without machining. In great detail is described joining parts from sheet using technology of seaming in bachelor thesis. Using a new materials in production and requirements on decrease cost require application modern way of joining, some of them are mechanical coupling procedures and joining by deformation strain.
Manufacturing of pressed metal part
Rubáš, Petr ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the design of the technology of manufacture of metallic insert that is included to the shock absorbing element of truck axle silentblock. The insert is made of ´U´ profile metallic sheets with bent edges at both ends, thickness 2 mm. What was chosen as the most fitting technology based on manufacturing requirements and production series size of 160 000 units per year is conventional tool bending. The required form of the insert is achieved by two operations: in the first step, both metallic sheet edges are preliminary bent and in the second step the central part is bent to the ´U´ form. The material chosen for the manufacture of the insert is micro-alloyed structural steel S 315 MC the mechanical properties of which match requirements of the finished product. The part will be manufactured on eccentric press LEXN 100 C and its production cost is CZK 4.60.
Tools for shear spinning technology
Kantor, Miroslav ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The issue of this bachelor’s thesis are tools for shear spinning technology. The work also contains a general description of the principles of shear spinning technology, its division and use. There is also mention of the machines used for this technology. In conclusion there is an example of produced components and self-evaluation of the issues examined by the author.
Manufacturing of the steam attemperator protective liner
Kukla, Petr ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis deals with the innovation of the manufacturing of the steam attemperator protective liner. The part will be made of low – alloy steel EN 10216-2 10CrMo9-10. The presented work contains an overview of possible production methods, where the technology of pipe end flaring with a fixed mandrel was chosen as the most suitable. The required material parameters were obtained by the tensile test. The application of the selected technology method was verified by analytical calculations and FEM simulation. According to the determined forming force (810 kN), an electro – hydraulic press OMCN 164 with nominal force 1000 kN was chosen. This machine is fully sufficient for the production of this component. The risk of occurring of a defects was excluded based on calculations and simulation. There was assessed considerable financial saving over 53 % in the technical and economic evaluation. In conclusion, this optimization of production is technically acceptable.
Manufacturing of chain wheel for BMX bike
Figar, Erik ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of suitable technology for the production of BMX sprocket made of sheet metal 14 220.3, with a thickness of 4 mm. The production series is 200,000 units per year. Following the analysis of different production options, fine-blanking technology has been chosen as the most suitable precision cutting technology. A technological proposal has been created, which includes the choice of a suitable appropriate blank (sheet metal 4x2000x6000 mm) as well as the design of a shearing tool with the corresponding drawing documentation of its selected parts. On the basis of the calculated values, HFA 4500 plus hydraulic triple action press manufactured by the Feintool company was selected as a production machine. In the last stage, technical and economic assessment of the efficiency of this production was performed.
Explosive forming
Palán, David ; Dohnal, Ivo (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The thesis elaborated in frame of bachelor studies represents literary studies focused on technology of explosive forming. The thesis presents used methods of explosivr forming, describes principles of individual methods, used jigs, tools, explosives and last but not least provides overview of manufactured components and application of the technology these days
Production of universal opener by fineblanking technology
Kučera, Radek ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to design a manufacturing technology of a part of the universal opener with an innovated design. The component is made of stainless steel 17 240 (X5CrNi18-10). The blank is 2 mm thick sheet metal. Within the literary study the comparison of the possible technologies of manufacturing has been carried out. With respect to the batch size (200 000 pieces) and to the required quality of the component the fineblanking technology has been selected. For the manufacturing of the component a triple action hydraulic press HFA 3200plus has been chosen. This press will be coupled in production line with a feeding line FBA 8/300. The main point of the thesis is to design a cutting tool and to create a drawing documentation. Another part of the project is the technical and economical evaluation of the designed manufacturing process.
