Measurement of greenhouse gas concentrations
Dohnal, Jan ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the greenhouse effect, various gases and methods of measurement. On the greenhouse effect is viewed from its historical dating, despite changes in atmospheric composition. It contains a theoretical analysis of the individual gases. It focuses on the most harmful greenhouse gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, ozone, chlorofluorocarbons and halons. Analysis methods for detection of gaseous substances. Part of this work is focus on the detection of nitrogen dioxide, chloro-fluorocarbon and methane. The data is processed using a ATmega’s microcontroller and then sent to an Internet server thingspeak.com. If the device proves successful, will be used as a laboratory exercise in the course Ecology in electronics.
HPLC evaluation of selected drugs II
Vyroubal, Petr ; Mokrý, Milan (advisor) ; Sochor, Jaroslav (referee)
HPLC evaluation of selected drugs II. THESIS Petr Vyroubal Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control In this thesis was validated method for simultaneous HPLC analysis of paracetamol and tramadol in combined tablet. As stationary phase the chromatographic column Discovery HS F5, 5 µm, 150×3 mm I.D. made by Supelco was used. Mobile phase was formed by mixture of acetonitrile : ammonium acetate solution 0.005 mol/l, acidified with acetic acid at pH 3.2 in the ratio 20:80 (v/v). A flow rate was 1.0 ml/min. Acetylsalicylic acid was used as an internal standard. The detection was performed at λ = 270 nm using an UV detector. The substances were eluted in following order: paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid and tramadol. The method was validated for linearity (paracetamol R = 0.9996; tramadol R = 0.9998), precision (paracetamol RSD = 0.31 %; tramadol RSD = 0.70 %), accuracy (paracetamol recovery = 99.49 %; tramadol recovery = 98.90 %) and robustness.
Model of a lighthouse with photovoltaic power
Dvořák, Adam ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to aquire and present the knowledge about the principles of the photovoltaic effect and panels and then discuss a theoretical analysis about these two topics. Task of the second part in this project is to design a theoretical model of a lighthouse, using pieces of information about photovoltaics which were acquired from the first part. And in the end physicaly realize designed model. In order to reach the best possible level of effectivity over the whole year, correct planning of the orientation and angle of placement while taking into consideration the movement of the sun is required before positioning the photovoltac panels.
Analysis of the fluid mixing in the circulation reactor
Mačák, Martin ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with an analysis of the fluid mixing in pilot plant loop reactor. Multiphase flow was simulated with calculation of velocity of flow and volume fraction of individual immiscible phases in hydrogenation reactor for aniline production. Parameters of flow were reviewed in individual parts of the device. Separate attention was paid to heat transfer through wall of the device with usage of external cooling. Designed model is applicable for optimalization and design of bubble loop reactors.
The design of 3D printer control electronics
Grossmann, David ; Tichý, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is interested in solution of electronics for RepRap 3D printer. Technology of 3D print and materials are described in teoretical part of this thesis. Main part is devoted for design of control electronics, design of full graphic LCD display and setting of software.
Controlling and construction of robotic arm
Sobota, David ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with creating of robotic arm including program for processor and computer interface with graphical programming for robotic arm. It search for solution, how to connect computer with board fittingly and how to create graphical interface for programming of the arm. Topic of this work is originated as the need to create learning tool for school subjects Computer projecting of production, logistic and ecology and Technological projecting and logistic.
Calculation of temperature field of the busbar bridge
Měrka, Ivan ; Maxa, Jiří (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This term project’s aim is to theoreticaly analyze thermal phenomena and losses in electrical power devices, describe the design and application of UniGear ZS1 type switchgear, put together a computer simulation model for thermal calculations of current and optimized solution and finally to discuss obtained results and compare them with experimentally acquired values. The main objective of this project is to determine, whether simulation is a viable and reliable enough method, that it could replace the costly real life physical testing. Modelling of the progress of thermal processes in different parts of the examined busbar will be done in computer aided design program Solidworks and its simulation plugin Flow Simulation.
Control of the 3D printer using Raspberry Pi
Lokajíček, Lukáš ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor project deals with the possibility of solution to control 3D printer type RepRap using single-board computer Raspberry Pi. The theoretical part of semester project contains 3D printing theory focused on 3D printer built at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Technology. The last part of bachelor project is devoted to practical design of compact interface that assure communication between 3D printer and controlling software using Raspberry Pi.

An Electro-Hydrodynamic Model for Bioimpedance Plethysmography
Vyroubal, Petr ; Uruba,, Václav (referee) ; Horák,, Vladimír (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
This doctoral thesis deals with the study of electro-hydrodynamics in the area of numerical modelling of biomechanical systems, concretely in the method of bioimpedance plethysmography. Solving tasks of pulsatile blood flow in the elastic vessel wall is currently one of the most complicated problem in mechanics and biomechanics due to the interaction of two continua on the common boundary. The whole system is additionally loaded by diagnostic electric current. This doctoral thesis was created in cooperation with the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS, v. v. i. Brno with the team engaged in medical signals (the leader Ing. Pavel Jurák, CSc.). Experimental measurements were made independently in the St. Anne's University Hospital Brno in the International Clinical Research Center ICRC and in the Mayo Clinic USA.
