Fuel prices and their impact on road transport
KOTEK, Jiří
Development of road transportation in Czech republic was compared with driving fuels prices development by the simple statistic examination. In was discovered, that volume of transported goods is developing indenpendently on prices of petrol and diesel in each year during last ten years. This fact is explained by business enviroment of goods transportation. Companies are obligate to deliver the goods by contract apart of the price of fuels. Outputs of goods and personál transportation rising along with prices of fuels, which is caused by growth of economy in Czech republic leading do larger amount of possible contracts and oportunities. Statistic analysis therefor confirms the hypothesis stated above. Prices of driving fuels have no influence in growth neither the structure of vehikle park in Czech republic. The amount of vehicles rises steadily last ten years indenpendently on fuel prices development. Economy crysis only slows the rise down.
Book of Abstracts
Kotek, Jiří ; Studenovská, Hana
The book of abstracts contains the summaries of all the contributions to the workshop Career in Polymers II organized in Prague, July 23-24, 2010 by the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry AS CR, v.v.i. under the auspices of Central and East European Polymer Network.
Carbonation mud from sugar industry as a filler
Šárka, E. ; Bubník, Z. ; Kotek, Jiří ; Kruliš, Zdeněk ; Picka, M. ; Milichovský, M.
Industrial application of carbonation mud is feasible especially in the area of plastic or paper recycling. Indeed, filling of recycled polymers or cartons by commercial calcium carbonate fillers is limited by economic aspects and the esthetic requirements for recycled materials (e.g. color) are adequately lower.
Carbonation mud from sugar industry as a filler in polymer composites
Kotek, Jiří ; Kruliš, Zdeněk ; Šárka, E.
The contribution is focused on application of carbonation mud, which is a by-product in a sugar factory, for property modification of polymers.
Program a kniha abstrakt konference P. M. M. Současné a budoucí trendy polymerních materiálů /23./
Raab, Miroslav ; Kotek, Jiří
Proceedings of the 23th Discussion Conference of Prague Meetings on Macromolecules, covering various aspects of science, technology, economy and ecology of polymeric materials. The conference balanced realistic approaches and visionary perspectives.
Recycling of soft polyurethane foams used in automobile industry
Beneš, Hynek ; Rösner, J. ; Horák, Zdeněk ; Kotek, Jiří ; Kovářová, Jana
Chemical recycling (glycolysis) of flexible PUR foams has been described. It was proved that obtained recycled polyols are suitable for preparation of rigid PUR foams and also for synthesis of compact PUR materials.
Mechanical properties of a fabric reinforced carbon-carbon composite
Starý, V. ; Černý, Martin ; Glogar, Petr ; Houška, L. ; Kotek, Jiří ; Nevoralová, M.
Mechanical properties of plain weave, twill and satin reinforced carbon-carbon composites were investigated in dependence of their heat treatment temperature and impregnation.
Interlaminar shear strength of textile reinforced carbon-carbon composite
Kotek, Jiří ; Glogar, Petr ; Černý, Martin
Interlaminar fracture of carbon fabric reinforced carbon composites with different volume fractions of reinforcement (Vf = 36 - 60 %) was investigated by tensile loading of double-notched specimens. Dynamic tensile and in-plane shear moduli of all materials increased with increasing Vf. The interlaminar shear strength yielded maximum values for specimens with volume fraction Vf ~ 48 %. After graphitisation, the in-plane shear modulus fell remarkably which is probably due to "stress graphitisation" of the matrix.
Heterogenní membrány založené na kompozitech z hypersíťovaných mikročástic adsorbentu a polyimidového pojiva
Hradil, Jiří ; Sysel, P. ; Brožová, Libuše ; Fryčová, Marie ; Kovářová, Jana ; Kotek, Jiří ; Bernauer, B. ; Kočiřík, Milan
The study deals with the preparation and characterisation of heterogeneous membranes based on microparticle hypercrosslinked polymeric adsorbents with a polyimide binder.
