Černý, Jakub ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the interconnection of CCD camera with microscope, which should lead to creation of universal tool for measuring objects under the scope.
System for stones counting
Krajíček, Pavel ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
My bachelor thesis themed System for stones counting deals with a question of object recognition from a picture. This thesis enlarges on a suitable type of lighting during taking pictures of stones followed with methods of objects recognition. In the last phase an amount of stones occured in the picture is determined from recognized objects.
2D localization by CCD camera
Kubr, Jiří ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis is focused on comparison of properties of different methods for finding reciprocal displacement of images. Two algorithms were tested: The image correlation method and The feature point correspondence matching method. Series of images were tested to get properties of tested methods. The results give us information about changes in method properties (computation time and succes in finding of reciprocal displacement) depending on set parameters (the number of feature points). It was determined which method for edge detection better fits one of the tested method.
Game instruments localization
Černý, Jakub ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis deal with problem of object detection. Object may be of different shapes and colors. The aim of this thesis is to determine the location, direction of movement, angle and proximity.
Visual detection of electronic devices
Juhas, Miroslav ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis describes application of image processing for precise distance measurement in self acting production of a tip for AFM microscopes. The main goal is to measure distances between assembly parts during fabrication process. The purpose is to acquire a data for self acting assembly line which have to substitute inaccurate and nonrecurring manual assembly process. The assembly process consists of three technological steps. In first two steps the tungsten wire is glued to the cantilever. Distance measurement is necessary in all axes for proper alignment of parts. In third step the sharp tip is etched by KOH solution. The right distance between liquid level and the cantilever must be kept. A camera with high resolution and macro objective is used to acquire an image. Camera image is then calibrated to suppress distortions and scene position with respect to camera position. Length conversion coefficient is also computed. Object recognition and distance measurement is based on standard computer vision methods, mainly: adaptive thresholding, moments, image statistics, canny edge detector, Hough transform… Proposed algorithms have been implemented in C++ using Intel OpenCV library. The final achieved distance resolution is about 10µm per pixel. Algorithm output was successfully used to assembly few test tips.
Adjustment of scene for electronic devices detection
Hynčica, Tomáš ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This work describes development of control hardware and software for automatic production of tuning fork with tip for atomic force microscopy (AFM). A specialized device implementing the problem is developed and tested. The advantage of the proposed solution is the ability to produce the tuning forks with constant parameters, which is an important condition for successful work with the microscope.
Traffic image sequence classification
Vomela, Miroslav ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The article introduces a general survey of concepts used in traffic monitoring applications. It describes different approaches for solving particular steps of vehicle detection process. Analysis of these methods was performed. Furthermore this work focuses on the design and realization of complex robust algorithm for real-time vehicle detection. It is based on analysis of video-sequence acquired from static camera situated on highway. Processing consists of many steps. It starts with background subtraction and ends with traffic monitoring results, i.e. average speed, number of cars, level of service etc.
LED detection using SSE instruction set
Stachera, Tomáš ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
The themes of this work is to make an instruction set for detection and counting LED in power supply control panel, with using SSE instruction set algorithm. The goal will be to compare function time for optimized and not optimized functions. The first part focuses on SSE instructions introduction, as well as on introduction of some functions using SSE instructions. The second part is dealing with algorithm for detection and counting LEDs and possibility of those algorithms optimizing with SSE instruction set. Next part introduces user interface for developed functions testing. On the very end I compare results of all functions and evaluate these results.
Methods for enhancing quality of digital images
Svoboda, Radovan ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
With arrival of affordable digital technology we are increasingly coming into contact with digital images. Cameras are no longer dedicated devices, but part of almost every mobile phone, PDA and laptop. This paper discusses methods for enhancing quality of digital images with focus on removing noise, creating high dynamic range (HDR) images and extending depth of field (DOF). It contains familiarization with technical means for acquiring digital image, explains origin of image noise. Further attention is drawn to HDR, from explaining the term, physical basis, difference between HDR sensing and HDR displaying, to survey and historical development of methods dealing with creating HDR images. The next part is explaining DOF when displaying, physical basis of this phenomenon and review of methods used for DOF extension. The paper mentions problem of acquiring images needed for solving given tasks and designs method for acquiring images. Using it a database of test images for each task was created. Part of the paper also deals with design of a program, that implements discussed methods, for solving the given tasks. With help of proposed class imgmap, quality of output images is improved, by modifying maps of input images. The paper describes methods, improvements, means of setting parameters and their effects on algorithms and control of program using proposed GUI. Finally, comparison with free software for extending DOF takes place. The proposed software provides at least comparable results, the correct setting of parameters for specific cases allows to achieve better properties of the resulting image. Time requirements of image processing are worse because designed software was not optimised.
3D triangulation technique for object reconstruction
Pospíšil, Petr ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
My paper work deals with the 3D active triangular method of building reconstruction. First, there was a measuring triangular system created. Then the way of its automatic calibration was proposed and consequently also performed. Also algorithms for the automatic detection of the sample projected were proposed. Algoriths were presented with several sample buildings. The result of these algorithms are 3D models of individual buildings. In the end achieved results nd restrictions of the system proposed were assessed.
