Decision-Making Processes in a chosen Company

The bachelor thesis deals with the decision-making process in the particular company. In the theoretical part the principle of decision-making, decision-making processes and problems and the structure of the decision-making process are described. In this work a specific decision-making process is presented namely, the choice of the supplier. In the practical part the process of selecting a suitable supplier for the purposes of the company, whose subject of business is the purchase of goods for resale, is analyzed. Result of this work is the comparison of the information obtained from the company with theoretical knowledge about the process of supplier selection.
Woman on The Labour Market in the Situation of the Mother

Human society is dependent on women who ensure their sustainability in the role of mothers. At the same time women participate in the economic prosperity of the family and society. The combination of these two roles puts them at a disadvantage in the labour market. This thesis aims at analyzing the current situation of women from the point of view of motherhood and position on the labour market. The theoretical part deals with two primary areas including social policy and the labour market. Social policy gives information about family policy and state support to mothers in comparison with other countries. The practical part, which is based on methodology, is dedicated to the analysis of the current situation of women and is divided according to the origin of the data. The secondary data were obtained from the public statistical database and the primary one through the questionnaire survey. The outcome of the work reveals significant factors influencing the age at which women have their first child, the dependence between parental leave income, the length of parental leave, and other answers to the research questions.
An analysis of selected online marketing tools in a particular Company

Aim of the thesis is an analysis of marketing tools, their efficiency and benefits in the particular choosen company environment. Subject of exploration is a part of website tools and online direct marketing tools. In the theoretical part of the thesis are presented tools from a general perspective, which are extended by several expert opinions. Practical part is based on the theoretical knowledge and tools are analyzed in a particular company environment. Thesis conclusion contains efficiency and benefits evaluation of the using tools in a particular company.
Punishment of disqualification and its control

This thesis focuses on the punishment of disqualification, as well as on its execution, control and related institutes. The main objective of the thesis defined in the Introduction is making a comprehensive summary of the issue with a focus on decision- making practice of the Czech courts. The text itself is divided into eleven chapters, some of which are divided into subchapters. In the Conclusion, the results of my thesis are summarized and evaluated. Besides that the thesis includes Content, Index of Abbreviations and Bibliography. The first chapter deals with general term of the punishment and it is divided into four parts. The first subchapter summarizes the concept of a punishment; the second one explains the nature of the punishment of disqualification. The third subchapter analyses the purpose of a punishment. The fourth subchapter focuses on the purpose of the punishment of disqualification. The second chapter explicates the status of the punishment of disqualification in the Czech penal system of penalties. Social Themes in Projects of Contemporary Czech Conceptual and Action Art (from the Late 1980s to the present Day)

The dissertation thesis gives a real picture of Czech artistic works from late 1980s to the present day that use the language of Conceptual and Action art for a reflection of current problems in our society. The study is to encompass socially-oriented art or tendencies that want to communicate with the inartistic context and its focus is on the social-political aspect of contemporary art. The first part of the text is focused on basic concepts, moreover, it describes the most important exhibitions, theoretical contexts or considerations associated with the concepts of political or engaged art and it includes a brief reference to examples of older socially oriented art of the 20th century. The thesis strives to give a picture of the main themes through which artists reflect on humanity within a current societal system with its various old or new phenomena. The topics and the particular relevant artworks are described in four main chapters that should reveal the working methods or the development of the artists approach or strategies of artistic groups that have simultaneously reflected changes in the Czech art scene for the past 25 years. Implementation of Lean Management Techniques in selected Organization

The main objectives of the bachelor thesis are methods of lean management in the Japanese way. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the individual methods such as Kaizen, 5S and Kanban. The aim of this thesis is to realize what Japanese way of thinking actually is and how works in practice. In the practical part I will implement these methods in the most efficient way in the given company. The most important process is reduction of waste. The conclusion provides improvements and recommendations for the company.
The Analysis of Poverty in the Czech Republic and a Comparison with other selected EU Country

Thesis concerns the analysis of poverty in the Czech Republic and a comparison with the situation in Germany and the Slovak Republic. The target is to find factors that are risk given the level of poverty and the level of risk of poverty or social exclusion in the Czech Republic, Germany and the Slovak Republic and get answers to research questions. Methods of scientific research is the analysis of secondary data drawn from Eurostat, the OECD and the statistical offices in selected countries.
Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Health Care Facilities

The aim of the thesis is to map out the possibilities of measuring the effectiveness of health care facilities and a practical example of the one found methods to use. In the introduction there are explained the terms efficiency and effectiveness. The next section describes the specifics of health care facilities in terms of their performance and the economy. Options of measuring efficiency in health care are identified mainly through literature. Detailed view of a practical part is dedicated to the modern method of measuring the effectiveness the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). In the practical part using the chosen tools is evaluated the effectiveness of a sample of hospitals. The conclusion summarizes the possibilities of measuring the effectiveness and assesses the benefits of using DEA.
Analysing the success rate of newsletter campaigns

The objective of the study was to analyse selected e-mail (newsletter) campaigns to show what kind of information companies share in their campaigns, what is the optimal frequency of mailings and how is this form of marketing communication perceived by the recipients. This objective was achieved using two methods: Firstly, newsletters from selected companies were collected and analysed as to their content, frequency and other specific features. Secondly, a questionnaire was administered to mailing recipients. The results obtained using the above methodology show that campaign recipients currently tend to perceive newsletters negatively and there are specific negative elements that deter recipients.
