Conception of Labour in the Spirituality of St. Clare and the Order of Poor Clares

Anglická anotace Diploma Thesis Title Conception of labour in the spirituality of St. Clare and Order of Poor Clares Author Martina Běťáková Supervisor ThLic. Pavel Vojtěch Kohut OCD Annotation: The submitted thesis is focused on the concept of human labour in the working of Saint Clara and related clarisses spirituality. For better orientation in the subject there are basic historic data from the life of Saint Clara of Assisi and from the history of Poor Clara's Order. Furthermore, this work briefly introduces the term of human labour from the aspect of anthropological sciences and philosophy and the concept of Magisterium, mainly in the documents Gaudium et spes and Laborem exercens. The fundamental part deals with the dignity of human labour within the clarisses and franciscans spirituality. The work is based on interpretation of testaments contained in the written sources from the 13th century. Additionally, the author briefly mentions evolution process of the concept of labour within the Order of Poor Clares, outlines subject of the servants - external sisters. Justification of ethical requirements of an employee in the concept of corporate social responsibility

This work seeks to uphold the ethical relevance of the concept of CSR (corporate social responsibility - CSR), particularly with regard to employees as an important participant of the economic process, which the scope of the concept of CSR falls in. So first we will need to defend the importance and role of ethics in the economy in general, and then illustrate the relevance of ethical business conduct toward employees in the company's strategy, which will be based on the principle of the categorical imperative and the concept of natural rights of human as philosophical - ethical grounds. Then, at work, we will deal with a particular ethical claims stemming from philosophical - ethical defensibility of the concept, while the requirements for an employer to an employee will be critically reflected on the criteria of Christian social ethics. When instantiating the criteria of Christian social ethics will be based on the requirements of this discipline together with philosophical ethics and economic (business) ethics. Mary D. Mazzarello) and it deals with the influence of S. Theresa of Jesus's work in the next period of the life of S. Mary D. Mazzarello - the period when she was the general superior of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Institute. The main sources are taken from her correspondence, from the Theresa of Jesus's documents and papers and from the salesian spirituality literature.

"Role of the media in decision-making about charity to help the needy" This thesis deals with the role of media in decision-making of an individual relating to charitable activities in the Czech society. The theoretical part turns attention to both basic topics, ie, the media and charity. The part concerning the media tries to show the linkage and interaction of media, as means of communication, and society, as the object of their action and influence. It deals with means of communication and subsequent transformation of the society. The thesis does not forget to mention responsibility of the media and the related ethics of media. The part relating to the charity presents output data from realized research on the charity work in the Czech Republic, information on donations and on credibility of organizations providing assistance to the needy. Conclusion of the theoretical part focuses on cooperation of the media and charitable organizations in organizing the most significant charitable events. The Diploma work explores and develops one of the many gifts of the Holy Spirit, that Catholic Church has like a treasure, and it is charisma. Many times in the Church or outside the Church a man can encounter with a negative attitude when the concept of charismas is mentioned, because many people do not know the true meaning and purpose of these gifts of the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the Diploma work is to raise in a simplicity the main issues of the topic and to offer answers to certain questions connected with the exposing of authenticity of this gift, which the Saint Paul is writing about. In the first part the Diploma work deals with the main attitudes of the Catholic Church towards charismas from the perspective of what Holy Scripture and Catechism of the Catholic Church says on the charismas. Title: The Holiness of Diocesan Clergy in the Documents of the Second Vatican Council and Postconciliar Magistery. The main goal of this project is to clarify, what consists along documents of the Second Vatican Consil and chosen documents postconciliar magistery holiness of diocesan clergy - bishops, priests and deacons. First chapter reflects, how Bible and church tradition envisage holiness, how were beginnings and evolution of clergy's order and how were shaped vision of its holiness. Second chapter deals with holiness of diocesan clergy in consil documents, third in chosen documents of postconciliar magistery. In final chapter are all acquired findings confronted with reality of life and service of current clergy and is sketched its application into current bishop's, priest's and deacon's life. In general sanctification through baptism has its own source and base special sanctification accepted through sacrament sanctification. It means objective holiness, where is him, who is ordained, irrevocable separated for serving to God and God's nation. Through practice of this service is realized subjective holiness. The Mystical path of St. Teresa of Jesus: reflection in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present

Saint Teresa of Jesus, the Spanish mystic of 16th century and the Carmelite order reformer presents the doctrine of internal prayer and all its stages in her works based on own personal experience of life with the God. The intention of this work is to analyze Teresa's mystical path as a process of spiritual life with various stages of transformation. It will deal with what it means to be united with the God for the human life in Teresa's conception. It will also submit how Teresa's doctrine of mystical path has been reflected in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present, respectively by Czech authors and by foreign authors of whose works were translated into the Czech language. The work will be based on the concrete text of Interior Castle, in which Teresa represents the soul with number of dwelling places. The structure will be defined by single dwelling places, which are considered the ascetic and mystical stages of the prayer. The work itself, the Interior Castle, will be introduced together with the first to third ascetic dwelling places which had been the subject of previous bachelor's work. The name Diploma thesis is "Benedictine Rule for Laymen or Becoming an Oblate". The main goal of this thesis is the presentation of benedictione spirituality as it is lived in common daily life not only among the walls of monastery. It focuses mainly on benedictine oblate laymen. It shows that the Rule created in the sixth centurty is not obsolete and provides guidelines for getting closer to God through everyday labor and prayer. It is divided into three parts which cover historical and spiritual aspects benedictine rule regarding oblates. The first part describes beginnings of monasticism and life of Saint Benedict. The second part describes history of oblates since their formation. The last part focuses on role of oblates in the church, their spirituality and their life in the world.
