Gender differences in economic and social application of the countryside

Diploma thesis gender differences in economic and social role in the country deals with the differences between men and women's status in the household, gender segregation disciplines, division of roles in the household, and points to the fact that men and women are constantly ascribed certain roles, which make evaluation and occupation of vz the employability in the labor market. The work is divided into theoretical part, which explains the basic concepts of gender issues and a practical part, where based on the survey were verified basic objectives and hypotheses.
Appreciation the impact of professional qualifications to get jobs in selected states of EU

This master's thesis evaluates the effectiveness of professional qualifications to getting a job. Due to significant differences in the historically created educational systems and qualifications in Europe, European Union member states committed to the development of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and national qualifications frameworks. The first part describes unemployment, factors influencing get a job, education in the EU and characteristics EQF. Next are characterized a national system of qualifications in the Czech Republic and system of recognition for qualifications. In the practical part describes national qualifications frameworks in selected EU countries, then use own research analyzed attitude of employers in selected enterprises towards professional qualifications. In chapter Evaluation is comparison of the results, evaluation and suggests recommendations for further development of professional qualifications in different countries.
Aging in the country

A man goes through several development periods in their life; and the ultimate stage is the old age. Today's middle age generation is awaiting a very long journey towards their well-deserved rest, and therefore it is necessary to change some patterns of thinking and behaviour in view of old age and aging generation. Every man should realize that they themselves will be old and reliant on the help of others one day, and adapt their behaviour and thinking accordingly now because not only every person but every senior deserves to be supported and encouraged enough to have a will and interest to live a quality life filled with an active interest in themselves and their surroundings, as well as to feel dignified, wanted and confident, not pushed to the edge of society, imprisoned in their loneliness and uncertainty.
Analysis of the determinants of consumption of selected agricultural products

This thesis deals with the econometric modelling of selected factors affecting the consumption of wheat bakery products in the Czech Republic and Austria between 1995 and 2014. There is a gluten problematic mentioned in the theoretical part and its impact on human organism, followed by an explanation of the consumer s behaviour and his reaction to the development of the price of the goods and his income. The thesis itself is divided into two parts. In the first part there are the time series analyses which are then investigated for their suitability for the subsequent modelling. The second part focuses on the construction of a single-equation model of the wheat bakery products consumption using an econometrical model. Finally there is a quantification of the impact of the individual factors on the wheat bakery products consumption in these two countries based on the coefficients of elasticity.
History of landscape development in Nová Ves I. and its utilization for Land Consolidation

The thesis deals with landscape development in Nová Ves I. The historical development of landscape was based on the evaluation of three maps from different times. The chosen ones were Stable cadastral map (1841), an ortophotomap from 1950´s (1954) and a recent ortophoto map (2015). The first part of the thesis is dedicated to literary research, which is focused on demarcation of related issues. The second part is focused on data processing and analysis. Maps were processed by ArcGIS 10.2 software. Raster data were manually vectorised according to the chosen categories of landscape utilization. The maps of landscape utilization during the times are providing important information about landscape development, mostly in past 170 years. At the end, the results derived from the analysis are put into context with the overall objectives of land consolidation. That show us the possible benefits of land consolidation in area of interest.
Evaluation of nominal and real convergence of the selected euro area countries and Czech republic

Study aims to evaluate the development of the Czech Republic in case of entry into the European Monetary Union. Due to the similarity of the Czech economy with neighboring Slovakia, it is the assessment carried out by means of economic development was the Slovak Republic after joining the European Monetary Union. They are evaluated by selected convergence criteria and the further development of some macroeconomic indicators of the country, which is subsequently compares with the development of the Czech Republic in the same period. The same glasses are compared and selected the Baltic states, which joined the European monetary union last. Subsequently, using deductive methods outlined the economic development of the Czech Republic for entry into the European Monetary Union. The last chapter is devoted to the criterion of exchange rate stability, it is pointed out to the strategy states, which have already become members of the European Monetary Union, and passed without major cost exchange-rate mechanism EMR II. In this chapter, the simulated process Czech Republic's entry into ERM II and learned from him the results.
Municipal Development Programme for the village of Nedrahovice as a source document for formulating its spatial plan

The diploma thesis concerns the Nedrahovice Municipal Development Programme as a source document for formulating its spatial plan. In the opening, the concept of spatial planning and planning legislation are defined, followed by the history of spatial planning and specific legal regulations until the present. The following chapters describe the main objectives and tasks of the spatial planning, its basic subjects and spatial planning tools under the current legislation; the work further analyzes the contents and formulating of the particular spatial plan. In addition, the theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the municipal strategic planning and its strategic document called Municipal Development Programme. The work continues the description of the document characteristics, its particulars and contents at a general level and compares the document with the specific Municipal Development Programme for Nedrahovice 2014-2020. The project part of the work deals with the Nedrahovice strategic document, its contents, shortcomings and errors. With reference to the critical analysis conducted, the thesis offers addition of the missing passages or deletion of the parts incorrectly inserted in the document. The spatial plan proposal is further elaborated in the project part of the thesis. The proposed spatial plan draft for Nedrahovice is based on the data provided in its Municipal Development Programme; the proposal also responds to its formal and content shortcomings. The thesis is concluded by pointing to the specific problems concerning the municipality strategic document where it serves as a basis for formulating spatial plan, it also points out on how the spatial plan shortcomings can affect the plan contents.
Tax havens in theory and practice

This thesis proposes an optimal tax structure for model company with the use of offshore jurisdictions. This model is based on multi criteria analysis of variants. The purpose of this work is a proposal how to reduce the tax burden and streamline business by using international tax planning. The theoretical part focuses on the topic of tax havens, the method of use of offshore centers, international tax planning and agreements on double taxation avoidance. In the practical part, there is a description of procedure for setting up a company in selected jurisdictions and Ltd. in the Czech Republic, including an analysis of the tax burden. On the basis of predetermined criteria, there is a model of multi-criteria decision making constructed on the basis of the comparison of all model companies. After a final comparison, Hongkong was determined as the winning destination among other offshore jurisdictions.
Subsidy policy and its importance for agriculture in the Sedlčany region

The thesis deals with a subsidy policy and its significance in an agriculture in the Sedlčany region. The aim was to use the available and professional literature and to give a comprehensive view on this issue. It was explained a reason for a creation of the subsidies and their importance. A comprehensive view on the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union was elaborated and its impact on an agriculture of the Czech Republic. The means were described, which the Czech Republic use to support farmers. The aim was to demonstrate the region practically subsidy policy issues within agriculture. Hypotheses were set: the subsidy policy contributes to a competitiveness of the agriculture, a sustainable management of a natural resources and a balanced development of rural areas in the Sedlčany region, use of subsidies is comparable to a situation at the national level in the region. Sedlčany region was characterized in terms of natural conditions, the agriculture, and the population. A data was processed on utilization of subsidies to agricultural entities in the region for the year 2014. Charts and graphs were generated from these data. Agricultural companies and private farmers were compared also the region and a nationwide situation. A support less favored areas is considerably more significant in terms of subsidies paid in the region. SWOT analysis was compiled of characteristics of the region. Subsidy options for 2016 under the Rural Development Programme were resulted. Questionnaire and semi-standardized interviews with agricultural entities were used in a field research in the region. Results demonstrated: the subsidy policy improves a living standards of workers in an agriculture, a modernization of a production and a mechanical engineering in the region. Agricultural entities perceive the negatives: differences in a level subsidies between the EU states, an increasing a land prices and a land lease prices, an increasing other inputs prices, unequal conditions of each EU member state, too much a bureaucracy and a complicated legislation. A water erosion occurs in a context of natural resources in the region. Rural areas are facing despite the subsidy policy with problems in the region (a declining population, departure of people to the cities, an aging rural population and a decreasing number of agricultural entrepreneurs). Hypotheses were confirmed based on the results of field investigation.
The Local Action Group (LAG) Říčansko as a tool for rural development in the region

The thesis contains an evaluation of LAG as a tool for development of the rural region. The default hypothesis is that the LAG Říčansko has of its region and the influence of this effect can be evaluated positively. It followed the trends and developments in the field of rural development with a focus on the LEADER approach. Furthermore, for the final evaluation analyzes the structure of the LAG, the selection of supported projects and the implementation of cooperation projects. Part of the work is devoted to the characteristics and the current situation in the region LAG Říčansko. As a basis for the design of projects in problematic areas include a description of activities of some foreign LAG in Germany and Austria. The aim is achieved through interviews with workers LAG Říčansko and compares its structure and focus of the recommended and mandatory requirement for LAG. It was also the focus of supported projects compared with regard to problem areas in the region. The main part of the job evaluation LAG was a questionnaire survey among inhabitants of the region, partners and holders LAG regional brand Zápraží original product, which was focused on knowledge of the activities of the LAG and satisfaction with the treatment. Economic efficiency projects LAG was assessed using a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of the selected project. Due to the nature of the project, its methodology was amended and as a result of its work is proposed for evaluating the effectiveness of cooperative projects using space CBA cost utility analysis (CUA). Knowledge about the work of LAG Říčansko are summarized in the conclusion that the MAS Říčansko has on the region a positive effect. Conclusion also includes the realization that this fact is only sustainable if the LAG will respond to changes in the region and its activities will involve local stakeholders in all sectors in sufficient representation.
