Methods: This thesis was prepared during a continuous professional practice at the clinic of the Centre for Treatment of the Musculoskeletal System in the period from 9. 1. 2023 to 3. 2. 2023. The case report of physiotherapy care of the patient consists of a medical history, initial kinesiological examination, on the basis of which a short-term and long- term therapeutic plan was determined. Nine therapeutic units were performed, ending with an exit kinesiological examination and an assessment of the effect of therapy. Results: During nine therapies, the patient's physical condition improved. The improvements were mainly in range of motion in the shoulder joint, increased muscle strength, and improved movement patterns and activities of daily living. Author: Veronika Sosnovcová Title: Postural stability measured by the Y-balance test in girls who practice sports aerobics and sports gymnastics. Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the difference in postural stability in girls from sports aerobics and artistic gymnastics. Compare the athletes from different age categories and see if the postural stability improves with age. The diploma thesis also tries to clarify the effect of hypermobility on postural control. Methods: 79 girls - 42 from sports aerobics and 37 from sports gymnastics - participated in this research. Probands were from 8 years old to adult girls. All the measurements were done in the gyms of the particapating clubs from october 2021 to february 2022. The girls were measured by Y-balance test which test their dynamic postural balance and by Beihgton score which test their hypermobility. Microsoft Excel 365 and stastistic software R (version 4.0.3.) were used for evaluation of results. The results were processed using a linear regression model. As a level of statistical significance was considered α=0,005. Results: This study showed that there are statistical significant differences in postural stability between grils from sports gymnastics and sports aerobics.
