RDF Grate Biomass Boiler
Kudýn, David ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design of a grate boiler with natural circulation for the combustion of refuse-derived fuels with the required heat output of 5 MW. Stochiometric calculations are executed at the introduction of the thesis, furthermore, the efficiency of the boiler is set down by an indirect method. Afterwards, the dimensions of the boiler are designed, with individual heat-exchanging surfaces. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to verifications of heat balance, the check of chlorine corrosion and setting down pressure losses for working medium and also for flue gas. The scheme of the boiler is attached in the appendix.
Energy Mix in the Czech Republic
Fojtl, Martin ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis addresses the mixture of energy mix in Czechia. The first part is focused on the evolution of energy mixture up to present days. In the next part, the expected development of the mixture is described from the state energy policy and ecological points of view. Lastly, in the final section, there is a comparison of compositions of electric energy source between Czechia and other countries of a European Union.
Substitution for a current source of heat in the industrial area
Novák, Jan ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is to design a final draft for the reconstruction of the central heating plant of the industrial complex. The background research outlines a brief description of the development of heating plant industry, boilers and conditions for the selection of a suitable heat source for the particular area. Further, there are listed standard possibilities of heat sources for industrial complex, which does not use heat for technological purposes only, but as well as for heating and warming up of supply water. The finding and presentation section summarize the current energy supply and the design of two variants for conceptual modernization of the boiler plant. According to the annual and daily chart for the need for heat, there are specified required heat outputs, which are supposed to be distributed to the campus network of heating and as well as the fuel consumption. One of the options considers the use of storage tanks. The conclusion compares both suggested options.
Grate Biomass Boiler
Michalica, Martin ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design grate boilers with natural circulation for the combustion of contaminated biomass. The boiler output is output 45 t/h. Produced superheated steam with the output parameters of 440 °C 4,2 at MPa feed water temperature 115 °C. The stoichiometric calculations and the thermal calculation are based on the specified fuel composition. Thanks to this, the basic dimensional design of the boiler and its efficiency are determined. Calculation of this work focuses mainly on thermal calculations and dimensional design of individual heat transfer surfaces. Basic drawing of the boiler is available in the attachment of the thesis.
Optimization of Gasification Process of Biodegradable Wastes
Elbl, Patrik ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to discuss the gasification of biodegradable waste. The theoretical part deals with gasification with focus on gasification phases, types of gasification reactors and pollutants contained in the generated gas, especially tar. Further, there is listed the characteristic of alternative biomass fuels, namely digestate and sludge waste. The practical part is devoted to gasification on a fluidized bed reactor with the aim to test the possibilities of gasification of these fuels, to determine their specifications and the influence of various gasification media. In the final part there are discussed the results of the collected gases and tar.
Gas Boiler
Štipský, Pavel ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a gas boiler for blast furnace gas combustion. At the beginning is performed stoichiometry of the used fuel to determine the optimal amount of combustion air and the actual amount of flue gas. Subsequently is determined the overall efficiency, together with heat and steam power of the boiler. The main part of the thesis is focused on the design of the combustion chamber and the dimensioning of heat exchange surfaces. At the end of the thesis are performed hydraulic and aerodynamic calculations to determine the pressure loss on the side of the working medium and flue gas. Drawing documentation can be found in attachments.
RDF Grate Biomass Boiler
Malíková, Veronika ; Křemínský, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a grate boiler for the combustion of a mixture of RDF and wood chips with the specified output and parameters of superheated steam. The introduction consists of stoichiometric calculations and determination of the thermal efficiency of the boiler. The thesis is devoted to determining the dimensions of the boiler, heat transfer calculations, determining pressure losses, checking the heat balance and chlorine corrosion.
Hot Water Grate Boiler
Svoboda, Marek ; Šilhavý, Karel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of hot water grate boiler, where the output is water with parameters 130 °C and pressure 16 bar. In the content of the whole thesis is gradually introduced a stoichiometric calculations, which is based on the specified fuel – wood chips. This is followed by the design of the individual heating surfaces according to the thermal calculations given in the thesis. Finally, the calculation is extended by hydraulic and aerodynamic losses. Dimensional design, as a basic scheme, is shown at thesis. More detailed drawing documentation is attached to this thesis.
Modern Application for Household Heating
Šoupal, Filip ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the research of basic sources, methods, and possibilities of heating modern family houses. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first one is focused on the advantages and disadvantages of individual heating sources in the use of renewable and non-renewable energy sources. The next section thoroughly describes and compares the methods of heating considering current emission standards. At the end, there is a technical and economic comparison of the variant of the current gas boiler with the variant of the automatic coal boiler and the modern heat pump. The comparison in interpreted on a model house through performed calculations. For better accuracy, the thesis is enhanced with pictures and tables.
