Control Software for multimeter 34410 A
Horák, Ladislav ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Keprt, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with development of Control Software for multimeter 34410 A and manual for its usage. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical problems of individual parts of the whole measuring system. The possibilities of setting of multimeter and his communication with control section through interface are shown. Development environment LabView 7.1 is also briefly described. The second part of the thesis deals with problems of Control Software for multimeter 34410 A. The selection of measuring and its detail options are described. It is also outlined the setting of extended functions, which multimeter enables to use. The third part of the thesis deals with validation measuring according to requirements for measuring of laboratory-type power source (DIAMETRAL) in its whole range. Individual measuring were process to tables and shown in graphs. Calculations of uncertainty types A, B and total combined uncertainty are presented.
SW modules for NI VeriStand
Žlebek, Jan ; Keprt, Jiří (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
Thesis is oriented to analysis of existing solutions and making own solutions of SW mo- dules for NI VeriStand. These modules are meant to enable communications with CAN, ARINC429, RS-485, SPI and SDLC buses in scope as defined by Honeywell company. To work on base of existing solutions is highly suitable, and in case of existence of sufficient implementation no additional work is appropriate. Analysis of current state of availa- ble SW resources revealed, that sufficient components for CAN, ARINC429 and RS-485 exist, so I continued to implement only SPI and SDLC. Components are designed as NI VeriStand Custom Devices and have their own FPGA parts.
Primary Calibration of Acoustic Emission Sensors
Keprt, Jiří ; Mazal, Pavel (referee) ; Hájek, Karel (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the doctoral thesis is the problem of the primary calibration of acoustic emission sensor. In the introductory chapters, there are the results from the study of literature in field of AE and primary calibration of AE sensor summarized. The practical part of the thesis is aimed on realization of the primary calibration of AE sensors by different methods. The standardized methods of step function calibration and reciprocity calibration were practically realized as a part of the research on the same aparature. The method of reciprocity calibration with wideband excitation was practically realized too. The comparison between results from each used method was realized and the influences of the different sources of uncertainty and the different configuration of the calibration aparature on the step function calibration and the reciprocity calibration were determined. The uncertainties were determined for each realized methods. The recommendations for the calibration by the different methods on the available calibration aparature were presented. All the proceses of the reciprocity primary calibration was automated by the programmed software and the channel switcher. The UT 1000 (s.n. 169) by Physical Acoustic Corporation was used as the calibrated sensor for the comparison of the results of the calibrations.
Control Software for Analyzer HP 89410A
Cacek, Jan ; Čejka, Miloslav (referee) ; Keprt, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is bent on creation control software for spectral analyzer HP 89410A. The first part offers overview capabilities of the analyzer and principle communication over the GPIB, second part serves to presentation to the problems graphical programming method and either as manual to control software with explanation of meaning individual entries. At last third part is introduced example of validation measure for check functionality software.
Time Synchronization of PC in Measurement and Control System
Vořechovský, Karel ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Keprt, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to measure the time synchronization precision of chosen methods. Therefor was chosen the synchronization method between two nodes using a couple of GPS recievers and a synchronizatian method through the ethernet using the precision time protocol. The precision of synchronization methods was measured by generating and timestamping an external measurement pulse wired to both nodes. By comparing the timastamps of both nodes was aquired the jitter between them. In addition was measured the timedrift between two clock counters for precise setup of the synchronization interval.
Digital Storage Oscilloscope
Piši, Daniel ; Keprt, Jiří (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor project deals with design and implementation of PC based USB digital storage oscilloscope. The aim of presented measurement instrument is to fill the space between amateur constructions and expensive proffesional oscilloscopes. In addition to good measurement parameters and affordable price wants to engage by free licence and originality solution. The concept of whole construction shows measurement instrument as a system of independent modules bringing new possibilities of extending functionality.
Measuring Software for USB Measuring Card National Instruments
Zikmund, Jiří ; Klusáček, Stanislav (referee) ; Keprt, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with measuring with USB card 6009 from National Industries company. The first part of the project deals with attributes and parameters measuring card. The second part of the project is aimed to programming environment LabView. In the third part of the project is descriptioned program to reading and generating curves, preferences and limits of this program, method of use and its options. In the last part of the project is valorization executed measures.

Control Software for RLC meter HIOKI 3532
Slovák, Martin ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Keprt, Jiří (advisor)
Aim of work gets up on questions and methods about measuring by RLC meter and realize control software for RLC meter HIOKI 3532. Theoretic part of work put mind to problems about impedance measuring, especially about means of their measuring. Next part deal with RLC meter HIOKI 3532 in particular to his properties, possibility of configuration and his communication by means of GPIB. Therefore next section surveys on the measuring systems, in accordance with standard GPIB. The main section is survey to control software for RLC meter HIOKI 3532 which is realize in the graphic programming language LabVIEW. The software made as an instrument to control and configuration of RLC meter parameters, which is needed to frequency response characteristic measuring and archiving. Work notes basic adumbration about software realization. And instruction for taking frequency response characteristic of measured item. Last part of the work contains from validation measure which took by the software.
