Title: History of the Czech fencing since its beginning till 1938. Objectives: Analyze historical development of the Czech fencing since its beginning to 1938. I would like to pay attention to the development of the Czech fencing federation, the most important results, the World fencing championship in Piešťany and also one of the greatest Czech club ČŠK Riegel. Methods: Most of the information I got in the National Archives in Prague. Moreover I got the publications and copies of magazines in the library of fencing club ČŠK Riegel, where they have history of their club in sheets from year to year. I used yearbooks and annual reports, where were reported the most important moments in the history of the federation. I also used the publications received from the Czech fencing association and publications dedicated to the sport of fencing in general. Results: The result is a comprehensive history of the Czech fencing till 1938. Keywords: Fencing, history, Czech fencing federation.

Marketing development and analysis of the ČOV focused on sponsorship

Title: Marketing development and analysis of the ČOV focused on sponsorship Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the marketing development since the marketing agency Česká olympijská a.s. was established, partners satisfaction with the counter-offer and the formulation of recommendations for its improvement. Methods: In this work we used a mixed research that we have done through the analysis of texts and documents, questionnaire and a SWOT analysis. Documents provide us an overview of the Czech Olympic Committee and its marketing activities. The questionnaire was used to express partners satisfaction with cooperation with the ČOV. SWOT analysis provided us with evaluation of internal and external factors affecting ČOV. Results: We found out that every Olympic cycle marketing proceeded, it was trying to bring new sources of financing and create various campaigns to raise awareness about the partners. Diploma thesis deals with the history of soccer in Roudnice nad Labem. It is dedicated to the beginnig of czech football, Roudnice nad Labem city and origin of soccer rules. It is aimed at significant moments and events, which are chronologically described. Reminds of players, coaches and officials, who mostly participated or participate in the origin and work od football clubs in Roudnice and should contribute to the inspiration and enrichment both the current and the future generation of players and fans of Roudnice soccer.

History of Sokol Prague Vršovice

This project is about the historical evolution of Sokol Praha Vršovice since its foundation in 1870 to the year 1938. It's focusing on events and people that affected the beginnings of the unit and its activities in following years. The project also shows the influence of Sokol ideals among the people and social and cultural situation in this part of Prague. Title: The History of Sokol Praha Vršovice 1870-1938 Objectives: The historical evolution of Sokol Praha Vršovice since its foundation in 1870 to the year 1938 in the context of evolution of the Sokol organization and the locality - Vršovice. Methods: The standard methods mainly chronological and comparative were used in the project. The data collection was made by the combination of the direct, indirect and progressive method. Results: Reconstruction of the historical evolution of Sokol Praha Vršovice focused on the following spheres of activities: organization, finance and economy, physical training, education and culture. Title: History of Pilsner football Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a comprehensive survey of Pilsner football on the basis of matching available information. Mention what were the origins, appearance and conditions for the development of the sport in Pilsen. As the sport continued to widen, and what were the relationships between the clubs and the impact on society. We also focus more closely on the two most successful clubs. In this work were used standard historical method, particularly the method of induction and deduction, direct, indirect and progressive, as well as analysis and synthesis. Molecular mechanisms in diabetic embryopathy

Diabetic embryopathy is one of many serious complications associated with diabetes. It is known that maternal diabetes increases the frequency of congenital defects up to ten times. The most common defects are cardiovascular and neural tube defects. Molecular mechanisms of diabetic embryopathy are still not known. This work contributes to elucidation of molecular processes leading to development of cardiovascular defects in diabetic embryopathy. This study is based on observation that maternal diabetes affects transcriptional regulation of hypoxia-inducible factor 1 (HIF-1) in developing embryo. To study the influence of maternal diabetes on HIF-1 signaling pathway, we used mouse model heterozygous for "knock-out" of Hif1α gene. Our analyses showed the negative combinational effects of maternal diabetes and Hif1α+/- genotype on embryonic development and increased risk of diabetic embryopathy. Histological analysis demonstrated the increased incidence of cardiovascular defects, particularly defects of interventricular septum and hypoplastic compact left ventricular wall in embryonic day (E) 14.5 Hif1α+/- embryos compared to wt littermates from the diabetic pregnancy. Sokol Through the Ages

Title: The Sokol Through the Ages Objectives: The two main goals of the thesis are to summarize the history of the Česká obec sokolská (COS - Sokol) from its foundation to its dissolution in 1948 and briefly describe the development of the COS after 1989. The first aim of the work focuses on the structure development of the Sokol organization, the development of the membership base, the Sokol festivals, the contribution of the COS to physical education and sports, and how various historical events influenced the COS itself. The second aim is to sum up the notes from the Sokol conventions and concentrate on the convention resolutions. Methods: The historical research was carried out by the following methods: direct, indirect, inductive, deductive, diachronic, synchronous, progressive, retrospective and biographical one. Results: The bachelor thesis is the attempt to create the comprehensive and objective history summary of the ČOS from its foundation to present. The studied theme is very broad and each of the chapters could be more detailed and supplemented with a lot of information which would make the length of the text much longer. Title of project: SK Jičín's Football Club History Thesis goals: The main goal of my bachelor's thesis is to capture the founding and course of development of our football club SK Jičín. I focused on history of the town Jičín in the first part of my Bachelor's thesis. In addition to this topic I depicted the development of sports in Jičín. The main part is focused on the founding of the football club SK Jičín and its course since 1998 up till present days.
