Unconventional Cooling Systems for Formula Students
Ondrejka, Filip ; Bartuli, Erik (referee) ; Kůdelová, Tereza (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design and manufacture of a heat exchanger with polymeric hollow fibers for a Formula Student vehicle. The work can be divided into three parts. The first part contains a review of heat transfer and heat exchangers, the second part deals with polymeric fiber heat exchangers design and manufacture of of polymeric hollow fibers heat exchanger with a heat exchanger for a Formula Student vehicle. The last part deals with the comparison of polymeric hollow fibers heat exchanger with the original aluminum heat exchanger and the evaluation of the measurement results.
Polypropylene membranes and their use
Strunga, Alan ; Bartuli, Erik (referee) ; Kůdelová, Tereza (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on polymeric membranes with additional focus on membranes produced from polypropylene. The main physicochemical properties of the membranes are discussed together with procedures and measuring devices suitable for their determination. Also discussed here are the most common production and modification methods, potential applications in the industry and the drawbacks that still limit widespread use. This works should provide basic information about the applications of hydrophobic membranes within the membrane technology.
Mathematical description of dynamic heat exchanger
Hvožďa, Jiří ; Hnízdil, Milan (referee) ; Kůdelová, Tereza (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with an analysis of a dynamic heat exchanger, with neglect to position, described by the system of ordinary differential equations. It includes necessarily theoretical basis of ordinary differential eqations and thermomechanics, a study of ordinary differential eqations' solution existence, overview of types of heat exchangers according to various aspects.
Phase Changes on Heat Exchanger Surfaces with Hollow Fibers
Kůdelová, Tereza ; Horák, Aleš (referee) ; Dohnal, Mirko (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the polymer hollow fibres heat exchangers. The main object of the research is the formation and process of condensation on the outer surface of fibres and the effect of phase change on the heat transfer. The study deals with the influence of the geometry of the heat exchnager on the heat transfer and the condensation process. Fatigue tests of polymeric hollow fibres exchangers are also part of the work. The work provides an overview of the possible use of such heat exchangers in industrial applications associated with condensation.
Solutions of inverse problems in the area of material and heat exchangers
Kůdelová, Tereza ; Nechvátal, Luděk (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the dynamic behaviour of the heat exchangers which is described by a system of differential equations. In this connection, it contains general informations about heat transfer, heat exchangers and their arrangements. The main aim of this thesis is to solve the inverse problem of the antiparallel arrangement and discuss the question of the controllability, observability and identifiability of its parameters.
Solution of inverse problems in the area of material and heat exchangers
Kůdelová, Tereza ; Nechvátal, Luděk (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the dynamic behavior of heat exchangers which is described by the system of dierential equations. In this conection it includes a general information about necessary theoretical background especialy concerning heat transfer. Further, it mentions also the basic types of arrangement of heat exchangers that may occur in practice. The main goal is to answer the questions of controllability, observability and identifiability of the parameters obtained by solving corresponding inverse problem.
