Study of torque vectoring clutch design
Cupák, Václav ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the design of right and left torque vectoring control used in heavy commercial vehicle powertrains. The beginning of the work is focused on the description of the active differential system and on the clutches used in the automotive industry. Then the basic parameters of the experimental vehicle are defined and the choice of the clutch conception is made. Subsequently, calculations of geometric parameters of clutches and verification of their heat capacity is made. Conceptual design of the control mechanism is discussed in the last chapter. The aim of the work is the draft of the possible type of control mechanism for the given system with the possibility to use the information obtained for the further development of this system.
Brakes and retarders of commercial vehicles
Kalnický, Jakub ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is specialized search dealing with brakes of commercial vehicles. The work is divided into six main parts. The first part deals with genesis of brakes. The second part informs about fundamental terminology and definition of braking. The third part deals with distribution of braking systems by their purpose. Contents of fourth and fifth parts are friction brakes and retarders. The last part is dedicated to development trends of brakes.
Alternative conceptions of combustion engines
Šťáva, Martin ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor´s thesis on the topic Alternative conception of combustion engines is description of chosen historical and present alternatives to conventional piston combustion engine with crankshaft. The aim of this thesis is to create thesis that relates description of historical evolution of alternative construction combustion engines. Alternatives are described in terms of construction, operating principle and properties. In past were developed plenty of different conceptions of combustion engines. However most of them have never been successful because of many technical problems, complicated construction or other shortages.
Machine learning and signal processing
Kolář, Michael ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibility of using neural networks in the analysis of a racing vehicle telemetry data. The analysis consists of finding and classifying the driving states of the vehicle as well as reconstruction and prediction of the data signal. The thesis consists of a research of machine learning focusing on neural networks. It describes the main types of the most commonly used neural networks with the description of their structure and their learning process. It also deals with the problem of classification and an in-depth analysis of the signal prediction and reconstruction. The conclusion is devoted to the implementation of the network into a TeleMatrix application.
Methods of Identification of Vehicle Brake System Temperatures
Jaroň, Dominik ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The work is aimed at measuring temperature of main parts of vehicle braking system. The first part is theoretical background for temperature measuring by thermocouples, IR pyrometers and paint pyrometers. There are also introduced devices and products, which are nowadays available to buy and which can be used for measuring. In the second part of this thesis there are shown methods of measuring by mentioned thermometers and evaluation of their pros and cons.
Simulation of commercial vehicle dynamics
Jobánek, Vojtěch ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
It is possible to transport shipments for long distances due to trucks. Truck producers focus on operations efficiency with increasing transport demand. The thesis deals with simulation of drive. Particular possibilities of chassis construction are described in the recherche, on its base initial. Values for the simulation are chosen. The dynamic tests, which were afterwards evaluated, were carried on the model of the set.
Photogrammetric localization of motorcycle rider
Lečbych, Jiří ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with designing a measuring device that would record driver’s movements during dynamic riding states known as localization, and based on the recorded data creating a simulation in multi-body software. The first part reviews the current state of knowledge in the field of photogrammetry, sensors, and motorcycles’ characteristics. Moreover, the second part focuses on constructing the measuring device, practical aspects of data collection, processing, and evaluation in multi-body software.
Measurement of camber during driving
Vojtěšek, Aleš ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is design measurement and measure change wheel camber angle during driving. For this task were used parts from Corrsys-Datron and remaining elements needed to be manufactured. With complete system measurements were done and outputs data were displayed by Matlab and evaluated. Based on data evaluation is possible exactly determine relative position of the wheel to the road surface and to the body of vehicle.
Virtual testing of autonomous vehicles
Matušková, Lucie ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with virtual testing of autonomous vehicles. The theoretical part describes an autonomous vehicle, the issue of testing autonomous vehicles. Furthermore, the work is focused on the description of ADAMS Car software and Virtual test drive. The virtual test drive is described for the most part, because it also contains a practical part of the work, which is working with the software.
Commercial vehicles powertrains design
Krupa, Lukáš ; Suchý, Jan (referee) ; Fojtášek, Jan (advisor)
In this work there are described parts of powertrain of currently used commercial vehicles and their configurations depending on the conception and purpose of vehicle. Individual parts of powertrain are described in terms of both design solutions and operating principle. The work is of the retrieval of character and serves as a source of information about the issue. It can be used for example as a teaching tool for getting deeper knowledge about the topic of powertrains of commercial vehicles.
