Depreciation policy of an entity and analysis of its impact on economic result

The subject of my bachelor thesis is ?Depreciation policy of an entity and analysis of its impact on economic result.? I deal with methods of depreciation of long-term tangible assets. In the theoretical part, I focus on characteristics of long term assets and their accounting and tax depreciation. Documentation and necessary information for my bachelor thesis were provided by Mr. Jiří Jíša, an entrepreneur who keeps double-entry accounting. The practical part shows the calculations of tax depreciation of two selected assets. I calculate depreciation, accumulated depreciation and net book values and I compare various depreciation method. These calculations are shown also in graphs. At the end of my thesis, I recommend the most suitable method of depreciation to a concrete entity. The aim of my thesis was to analyze the methods of depreciation of long-term tangible assets and to determine the impact of the concrete method on the economic result and income tax base.

Selected somatic characteristics and motor performance of girls aged 7 and 10 years

This work is focused on monitoring changes in selected somatic characteristics and motor performance of girls aged 7 and 10 years. The research was also focused on diet and lifestyle of the girls and their parents. The research was conducted at five different primary schools (Tábor, Soběslav, České Budějovice, Tvrdonice). Twenty six somatic dimensions, two functional tests and five motor tests for motor development were measured. There are also presented results of a questionnaire of children and their parents. Some body measurement was used for the calculation of body composition (the weight of the skeleton, the weight of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, the weight of the muscle mass and weight of the rest of the body) and the somatotype. The data were recorded in the pre-record sheets and then they were statistically evaluated and processed into tables and graphs. The obtained results were compared with the previous surveys.

Recruitment process at CSOB bank in terms of pressure of graduates from business schools

The aim of this thesis is to first evaluate the current possibilities of students and graduates of economic fields of study in the labor market and in one particular company - Československá obchodní banka, a. s., and the second to characterize the recruitment process in CSOB. It contains also several proposals to make the process more effective. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part first examines the main trends in students and graduates business education and speaks about the issue of coming of graduates into the labor market. The following chapter deals with the personal work, specifically recruiting and selecting of company's staff. Practical part evaluates the options of cooperation for students and graduates with the Bank and presents a complete recruitment process of workers in the company. The part of this work is a survey of preferences of students and graduates in choosing first job. Based on survey results, compared with the actual activities of CSOB are formulated some recommendations.

The Role of Education on the Labour Market

The work is aimed at graduates of secondary schools and universities and their application of a field of study in the current employment in the labor market in the Czech Republic. Fields selected based on its own questionnaire survey, are characterized from various aspects. Subsequently, the graduates with the knowledge gained in these areas and examined the correspondence of the training with the field work.Hypotheses about the most common causes of these disagreements are tested in the practical part. Based on these results recommendations are made to enrich what schools teach or modify the profile of their future graduates in line with the demand for labor in the labor market and any other requirements of employers.

Analysis of personnel management

The topic of this Bachelor's thesis is an analysis of personnel management in the company DIAMONDS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION - D.I.C. plc., which is engaged in production and selling of diamond jewellery as well as the selling of invested diamonds. The thesis is divided into theoretical part, where the basic personnel activities are characterized, and into practical part, where the theoretical knowledge is compared to the practical reality in the company; in addition, the recommendations are designed to increase the efficiency of the personnel management. The analysis is focused on staff planning, recruitment and employees selection, performance management and evaluation of employees, rewarding of employees, staff training and progress.
