Allocation key design to equivalent production of electric energy at radial distribution network
Lejsek, Martin ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of unequal supply options of electric energy to the distribution network from photovoltaic power plants due to the physical characteristics of the distribution network and current legislative rules. The theoretical part of the thesis describes legislation related to the connection of PV sources to the distribution network, various approaches from the literature as well as selected types of transmission and distribution network models. In the practical part, simulations for own network of 11 load points using allocation keys, according to which the aim is to achieve a uniform production electricity from all PV sources in the selected model of distribution network.
Design of overhead line 22 kV with new supporting structure points
Ślusarczyk, Patrik ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the existing section of the 22 kV overhead line and the subsequent design of new supportin structure points, meeting the requirements of the operator and generally applicable standards. This section is located on premises of the Větřní transformer substation, with is operated by distribution company EG.D. The content of this work is focused mainly on components, that are used in the area of interest of this particular company. The theoretical part discusses the characteristics of sub-elements of distribution systems and subsequently the mechanical properties under the action of external influences, which have a fundamental role in the behavior of the entire system. A mathematical apparatus is introduced, which is then applied during the design and inspection of the given section. The practical part first deals with the critical evaluation and control calculations of the current state of the line, in relation to the planned reconstruction. Subsequently, the core part of the work is focused on the proposal for the reconstruction of the section of interest, including the relocation of overhead line towers. This step is implemented in the form of drawing documentation and control calculations of the newly designed states, supplemented by assembly tables. Together with these steps, the work is extended by the necessary documentation for grounding the support points, the material specification of all parts and the basic project documentation itself, which can serve as supporting material during reconstructions facing a similar problem.
Differential Protection for Power Transformer
Bukvišová, Zuzana ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This thesis explores power transformer protection and focuses on differential protection. It attempts to explain its principles and operating characteristic settings. The measurement was executed on devices SPAD 346 C and REF542plus, which can be used for differential protection. At the end, there is a comparison of results of operating characteristic measurement on both devices. Their function was tested at different cases, specifically when the differential current occurs in all phases or just one. The thesis includes a comparison of reaction times under fast increase of current. OMICRON CMC 256 plus was used as the test device. The data obtained by the measurement are processed in tables and charts.
Traction protection
Šüli, Nicolas ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Topolánek, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on methods of protection for AC and DC traction systems. In thesis first deal with current state in traction, next with undesirable conditions and electrical protections. The work describes a draw in the program INKSCAPE two most often used traction power station with protection.
The voltage restoration in Prostějov and Zlín distribution area
Wasserbauer, Vojtěch ; Vaculík, Petr (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is description of critical situations in the electrical grid and the consequences which can be caused by these situations. Further possibilities of voltage recovery and ways how to reach the needed voltage are described. Another part is firstly about regulation electrical system and resources which are connected to this system. Secondly there is appraisal of possibility of connection new resource into distribution system 110 kV and conditions of connection new resources. The result of the thesis is description voltage recovery and the rules which have to be kept during critical situations.
Reconstruction of a transformer station with a substation for auxiliary systems
Novický, Marek ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Jurák, Viktor (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the premises of the Staré Brno heating plant, where there are two 22 / 0,4 kV transformers used to supply the heating plant's auxiliary system. The thesis deals with theoretical areas related to the planned design. After theoretical section is following a detailed description of the recent state of HV and LV substations and transformers. The scope of work is the design of new transformers, HV substations and LV substations, central compensation. At the end of the thesis is discussed the economic side of transformers.
Measurement of three-wire transformer parameters
Kováč, Frederik ; Bukvišová, Zuzana (referee) ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (advisor)
Thebachelor’sthesisdealswithmeasuringsymmetriccomponentalimpedanciesofthree winding transformer. Thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part is described principle of transformer operation, its parameters, open-circuited and short-circuited measuring, measuring of zero-sequence impedance and connection schemes. Practical part deals with design of workplace in laboratory, description of used instruments and practical measurements with real connection schemes. For measuring parameters of three winding transformer is created a laboratory instruction manual.
Concept of smart home energy monitoring and management
Kolouch, Petr ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vrána, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with smart metering of home. The introduction of the thesis deals with the approach of this issue. It then explains the principle of smart socket operation and the possibility of linking smart sockets with renewable sources. In the next part of the thesis there is a thorough search of existing smart systems in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the practical part, 3 commercial smart sockets were measured and evaluated. The last part is the creation of the concept of smart socket-based on microchip ADE7753. Subsequently, the implementation of the measuring device is detaily described.
Extensible measurement socket placement optimalization with respect to the higher number of conductors
Šindler, Matěj ; Čepička, Martin (referee) ; Wasserbauer, Vojtěch (advisor)
In opening, this bachelor thesis is describing structure and basic block description of UniGear switchgear manufactured by ABB company. Then this thesis focus on current and voltage transformers and sensors often used in this type of switchgear. Main part of this thesis is dedicated to evolution and description of connector, used in connection solution of withdrawable metering unit with low-voltage compartment. Next part states the main requirements for new connector, that will replace current connector in future solution. In following part there is a list of different options for new connector with their biggest strengths and weaknesses pointed out. Then there is list of alternative placements for new connector. In final part is chosen and described new connector and its placement. This solution is valuated and backed up by created 3D models.
