Analysis of strut frames structure using the tensegrity principle
Marek, Martin ; Lukáš, Petr (referee) ; Jadrná, Lucie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on strut frame structures using the tensegrity principle. It outlines a theoretical introduction to strut frame structures with an explanation of basic conditions of strut frame structure existence. It further describes the basic theory of strut frame structures using the tensegrity principle, their characteristics and their advantages and disadvantages. In the research section the occurence of biotensegrity in nature and human anatomy is presented. A description of use of tensegrity in practice is also presented. After the research section a computational section follows, this section contains basic thoughts used in the 2D model such as the considered materials and the strut frame geometry. A numerical computation in the ANSYS simulation software and an anlytical computation in MATLAB is presented. Last, a numerical computation of a 3D strut frame model with the tensegrity principle is described.
Effect of agricultural machinery on species composition and harvest quality of fodder biomass
MAREK, Martin
The bachelor´s thesis deal with the utilization of permanent grasslands in a selected company. One of the goals of this thesis was to compare haymakers in terms of losses, quality of hay and quality of the row. The parameters of individual types of ha-ymakers were also evaluated. Other evaluated indicators included the height of the stubble and the quality of the cut using a disc rotary cutter used in the company. The individual agrotechnical inputs were briefly described and possible improvement pro-posals were described. The work also deals with yields and the botanical composition of individual species on selected plots. The representation of individual grasses, herbs and legumes was determined for each plot. The work also characterizes individual mechanization means and their influence on the botanical composition of swards. The settings of the machines used for haymaking are described to ensure the highest pos-sible quality of hay.
Principles and Solutions for Green Infrastructure Elements in European Cities
Kotrla, Jakub ; Marek, Martin
Green infrastructure is one of the most important and most addressed types of infrastructure in the last decade, also in relation to addressing the climate crisis and the related stormwater management and drought impacts. However, cities in Europe approach the application of green infrastructure elements or the application of the whole water management system very differently, which is also due to the very structure of urban development. The aim of this paper is to present the principles of green infrastructure solutions on the examples of several European cities and in the context of the Czech Republic and to specify where implementation is insufficient or what are the specific problems why implementation is not successful.
Solving of Security Problems in Local Networks
Marek, Martin ; Heriban, Pavel (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is concerned with solving security problems in local computer networks. The main part deals with the solution of authorization of wireless clients against the RADIUS server and with the proposal of domain controller using open-source products and the tools of operating system GNU/Linux.
Progressive cladding system with corrosion protection function
Marek, Martin ; Taranza,, Luboš (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
Corrosion of reinforcement in reinforced concrete is a huge problem. Corrosion of reinforcement has a great effect on the service life of reinforced concrete structures. The subject of this work is to verify the inhibitors properties and their efficiency using physical and electrochemical methods. The aim of this work is the design of formwork panels with corrosion protection. The formwork panels are on different material basis. Corrosion protection is ensured by the use of migration corrosion inhibitors.
Progressive types of formwork with anticorrosion protective function
Marek, Martin ; Vaněrek, Jan (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
The corrosion of the reinforcement is the main cause of malfunction of the reinforced concrete. It causes meaningful increase of liveness of the construction. The subject of this thesis is development of progressive concrete reinforcement with anticorrosive protective function. Theoretical part is focused on study and description of available corrosion inhibitors, mainly migrating inhibitors. Theory also includes summary of the principles of concrete reinforcement corrosion. The purpose of the thesis is application of migrating corrosion inhibitors to the formwork and basic testing of their efficiency.
Torque vectoring differential utilization in the design of the current automobiles
Marek, Martin ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis is to create analysis of the structural design ”Torque Vectoring” differentials and powertrain vehicles which use this type of differential. The project outset is devoted to an explanation of what the differential is and how it works, and then the distribution of differentials. The next section deals with active differentials, their principle function and design solutions. The end of thesis includes design solutions powertrain some models of vehicles using active differentials. The thesis has the character of search and contains no calculations or custom designs.
Using Facility Management for efficient energy saving of buildings
Marek, Martin ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Remeš, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with Facility Management, which integrates supporting ac-tivities for building users (facility users). The theoretical part describes the meaning and goals of Facility Management and its development in the world. A part of the work is devoted to the actual application of the long-awaited standardization in the field of Facilitation Management. The practical part describes the maintenance and supporting activities for a particular building object -- the fast food restaurant in Brno. The results show how the use of Facility Management affects the benefits of the building owner and the facility user.
Smith Chart Visualization Tool
Marek, Martin ; Pokorný, Michal (referee) ; Kadlec, Petr (advisor)
The objective of my bachelor thesis was to create a Smith chart visualization tool in computing environment MATLAB. I created an impedance Smith chart in graphical user interface which delineate parameters of basic line types. Parameters of transmission lines can be defined in the Smith chart as normalized impedance, reflection coefficient, normalized admittance or impedance in combination with line’s characteristic impedance. It is also possible to design simple matching circuits, e.g. with quarter-wave transformer, series stub, parallel stub or matching circuits with lumped elements.
Universal Robotic Platform
Marek, Martin ; Kunovský, Jiří (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the proposal of the universal robotic platform. The paper descibes a robotic competition for which is posible to use this platform. There is a list of basic sensors that are suitable for small robot competition. Of course there is a short description for each sensor. In the chapter of the draft prototype are described types of chasis. There is an explanation of use of the differential gear for this platform. The text also describes the development of the prototypes platfom and used data bus for comunication between the periferies and the MCU.
