Místní poplatky jsou jediným daňovým příjmem, který obce mohou ovlivnit. To znamená, že o jejich uvalení si rozhodují sami. V této práci nejprve analyzuji zákonné možnosti uvalení místních poplatků. Stručně charakterizuji devět poplatků, které mohou podle zákona obce v České republice vybírat. Dále se věnuji situaci v konkrétní obci, kterou je Ždírec nad Doubravou, který se nachází v kraji Vysočina. V této části analyzuji vývoj jednotlivých poplatků a jejich sazeb v letech 2001 - 2007. Ke sběru primárních dat jsem v této práci použila dotazník, ve kterém jsem zjišťovala názor občanů Ždírce na problematiku místních poplatků. Při jeho vyhodnocování jsem ovšem zjistila, že občané Ždírce o místních poplatcích skoro nic neví. Poslední části práce porovnávám vypočtené ukazatele za Ždírec a za celou Českou republiku. Z vypočtených hodnot jsem zjistila, že zatížení občanů Ždírce místními poplatky je o hodně vyšší než je tomu v průměru v České republice. Municipal taxes are the only income that can be influenced by the municipality. This means that their imposition will decide for yourself. In this work first analyzing the possibility of the imposition of municipal taxes. Briefly characterize the nine municipal taxes which may under the act the municipalities in the Czech Republic to choose from. It is also given to the situation in a specific town, which is Ždírec nad Doubravou, which is located in the region Vysocina. In this part analyzes the development of the individual municipal taxes and their rates in 2001 - 2007. For the collection of primary data in this work I used a questionnaire in which I examined the view of Ždírec inhabitants of municipal taxes. I found that they know almost nothing about municipal taxes. The last part of the work compare the calculated parameters for Ždírec and the Czech Republic. From the calculated values, I found that the burden on citizens Ždírec municipal taxes are much higher than the average in the Czech Republic.
