Práce si vytkla za cíl představit odborné veřejnosti poslední, desátou symfonii českého skladatele Jaromíra Podešvy, která stejně jako většina jeho symfonií ( vyjma třetí a čtvrté) dosud nevyšla tiskem. Věnuje se také částečně Podešvově teoretiskému dílu s blizším zacílením na skladatelovu koncepci symfonické paralely a jeho kompoziční metodu totální dodekafonie. Práce se také snaží podat ucelený přehled dostupnosti ostatních symfonických partitur a nahrávek a v neposlední řadě představit Jaromíra Podešvu jako uměleckou osobnost , která si zaslouží respekt a pozornost odborné veřejnosti. The aim of this work is to introduce to the professional public the last, 10th symphonies ( except the third and fourth), was still not published yet. It is also partly concerned with Podešva´s theoretical work with closer focus on the composer´s conception of the symphonic parallel and his composing method of tonal dodecaphony. The work also aims to give a comprehensive overview of the availability of other symphonic scores and recordings, and finally introduces Jaromír Podešva as an personality that deserves respct and attention experts.
