Diplomová práce skládá ze tří částí. V první části je vysvětlena problematika EIA a jsou zde uvedeny základní statistiky z let 2003-2007 s ohledem na změny v legislativě v letech 2006 (163/2006) a 2007 (216/2007). V uvedených statistikách je vyčíslen např. celkový počet posuzovaných projektů za jednotlivé roky, počty posuzovaných projektů na MŽP či krajském úřadě. Dále jsou vyčísleny posuzované projekty za jednotlivé kraje s ohledem na odvětvové členění. V druhé části je vysvětlena problematika týkající se územního plánování - definice územního plánování, nástroje územního plánování, cíl územního plánování a legislativa a orgány činné v územním plánování. Poslední úsek práce je věnován významu systému EIA (který se v podmínkách ČR zabývá pouze projekty a činnostmi) pro územní plánování. Jsou zde vyzdviženy přínosy EIA pro koncepce územního rozvoje. Rozlišení systému EIA pro projekty a pro územní koncepce. The diploma thesis consists of three parts. In the first part the problematics of the EIA process is explained and basic data and statitistics for the years 2003 to 2007 is mentioned with respect to the legislative changes in 2006 and 2007. The statistics include i.e. the total number of the projects assessed in individual years, number of the projects assessed by The Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic and regional authorities. Furthermore there are quantified individual projects coming under individual regions, respecting the division into individual industrial branches. Part two deals with the problematics of landscape planning --definiton, tools, targets, legislation and authorities in charge with landscape planning. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the importance of the system of EIA for the needs of spatial planning. There are shown the benefits of EIA for landscape development. Moreover there is distinguishing of EIA for individual projects and for spatial conceptions.
