Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na realizaci regionální politiky v České republice a Polsku. Teoretická část se zabývá zejména obecným vymezením regionální politiky, její definicí, pojetím, motivy existence a používanými nástroji. Dále je popsáno její uskutečňování v České republice a Polsku, a to z hlediska institucionální soustavy, dokumentů vztahujících se k tomuto tématu. Práce rovněž obsahuje popis základních disparit objevujících se v obou státech a vývoj nezaměstnanosti a regionálního HDP na obyvatele v regionech NUTS II. Stručně je popsáno i čerpání prostředků ze strukturálních fondů. Poslední část srovnává realizaci regionální politiky v České republice a Polsku a obsahuje SWOT analýzu. This diploma thesis is focused on implementation of regional policy in the Czech Republic and Poland. The theoretical part deals with regional policy in general, its definition, motives and used instruments. It is also described its implementation in the Czech Republic and Poland, namely institutional framework, documents in this sphere. This work also contains a description of basic disparities in both states and unemployment trend and trend of regional domestic produkt per inhabitant in regions NUTS II. It is also briefly described how these two states draw the support from structural funds. The last part compares the implementation of regional policy in the Czech Republic and Poland and contains a SWOT analysis.
