Téma předkládané diplomové práce zní Aktuální otázky pěstounské péče v České republice. Orgány Evropské unie a organizace UNICEF na základě informací odborníků v posledních letech opakovaně upozorňují, že v České republice žije vysoké procento dětí do tří let věku v ústavních zařízeních. Je tedy potřebné, aby stát ve větší míře podporoval náhradní rodinnou péči, především pak péči pěstounskou, která jako důležitý článek v této problematice, může znamenat snížení počtu dětí v ústavech. Pěstounské rodiny jsou hledány především pro sociálně osiřelé děti. Je potřeba zaměřit se na efektivní způsoby podpory ze strany státu na několika úrovních. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a na část výzkumnou, praktickou. V části teoretické byly popsány funkce a poruchy rodiny, psychická deprivace u dětí, historie náhradní rodinné péče, institut pěstounské péče a její nové formy, zákonný postup zprostředkování náhradní rodinné péče, identita dětí a rodičů. V praktické části byl stanoven cíl výzkumu a hypotézy. Cílem práce bylo přispět k objasnění důvodů, pro které děti žijící v ústavech se hledá vhodná náhradní rodina obtížně. Výzkumný vzorek tvořilo 110 dětí ze všech krajů České republiky kromě Jihočeského. Spisová dokumentace těchto dětí byla v druhém pololetí roku 2007 předána na Krajský úřad Jihočeského kraje poté, co se v krajích, kde děti měly trvalé bydliště, nepodařilo nalézt vhodnou rodinu. Získaná data byla zpracována formou obsahové analýzy, která umožnila kategorizaci jednotlivých hledisek a vytvoření výsledné charakteristiky zkoumaného vzorku. V souvislosti s cílem práce byly stanoveny následující hypotézy: Hypotéza č. 1: Nejvíce dětí ve zkoumaném vzorku má závažné postižení. Hypotéza č. 2: Ve zkoumaném vzorku se jedná o děti převážně ve věku 7 {--} 10 let. Hypotéza č. 3: Nejčastější důvod pobytu dětí v ústavu je, že rodiče se o děti neumějí postarat. Výsledky výzkumu byly diskutovány a srovnávány s výsledky jiných autorů. Důležitou součástí práce je interpretace výsledků a návrh na využití poznatků v praxi. The topic of my thesis is called Current Questions about Foster Care in the Czech Republic. European Union organizations and UNICEF organizations, due to the information from experts, have been drawing attention to the fact, that there is a high percentage of children under the age of three years living in various institutions. It is therefore necessary for the state to increase the support for substitutive family care. The theoretical part describes the function and defects of a family, psychic deprivation of children, the history of foster care, the institution of foster care and its new forms and other. The target of the research and hypothesis is stated in the practical part. The target of the thesis is an attempt to clarify all the reasons why children live in institutions and why finding a substitutive family for them is difficult. The targeted sample was represented by 110 children from all regions of the Czech Republic except the South Bohemia region. These children{\crq} s collection of documents was forwarded in the second half of the year 2007 to the Regional Council of South Bohemia Region. In accordance with the target of the work following hypothesis were determined: Hypothesis no. 1: Most of the targeted children have serious disabilities. Hypothesis no. 2: The targeted sample were mainly children between 7 {--} 10 years old. Hypothesis no.3: The most frequent reason why children stay in institutions is the fact that their parents are not able to look after them. Hypotheses have been refuted.
