Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou strategického managementu v neziskovém sektoru, a to jak jeho teoretickým vymezením a definováním přístupů k jeho aplikaci, tak praxí samotnou. Na příkladu komorního orchestru specializovaného na soudobou klasickou hudbu, Orchestru Berg, je demonstrován proces vytváření strategie pro konkrétní organizaci. Formulaci plánu předchází teoretická analýza přístupů ke strategickému plánování z oblasti businessu i neziskové sféry a výběr nejvhodnějších metod pro sledovanou organizaci s ohledem právě na specifika neziskového sektoru. Metody jsou aplikovány na Orchestr Berg v praktické části. Na základě výsledku provedených analýz jsou zpracovány návrhy variant strategií a nejvhodnější návrh strategie je rozpracován podrobněji do konkrétních plánů pro jednotlivé oblasti činnosti orchestru. This dissertation work examines the role of strategic management in the non-profit sector on the example of the Berg Orchestra, which is a chamber orchestra specializing in contemporary classical music. A theoretical analysis of several strategic planning models is presented, and the most appropriate is selected based on the general requirements of a non-profit organization. Applied specifically to the Berg Orchestra, the proposed strategy takes into account the various roles and activities of the orchestra.
