Tato práce pojednává o problematice zajištění financování systému zdravotní péče v důsledku probíhajících změn v demografické struktuře obyvatel České republiky. Na základě demografického vývoje populace je v práci dokázán zřetelný trend stárnutí obyvatelstva, který s sebou přináší problémy v podobě rychlejšího růstu objemu poskytované zdravotní péče a zároveň pomalejšího nárůstu příjmů do zdravotního systému. Tyto závěry dále slouží jako podnět k rozboru zdravotního systému a k zpracování analýzy budoucího finančního zatížení zdravotního systému. Závěrem práce je zhodnocení možných návrhů a změn, které je podloženo výsledky průzkumu veřejného mínění obyvatel České republiky. Pro úplnost jsou zde uvedeny i další problémové okruhy ve zdravotnictví, které by svým zlepšením mohly přinést finanční úspory. This thesis is concerned with the issue of health care financing due to the upcoming changes in the demographic structure of the Czech Republic. This work documents the obvions trend in population ageing (given by the demographic development). It brings about the fast growing demand on health care and simultaneously slowly rising helth care system income. These data are used here for the health care system analysis and I used the data to analyse and estimate the future financial demand on the health care system. I concluded my thesis by evaluating possible suggestions and changes which are supported by a survey conducted in the Czech Republic. I have also included other problematic areas concerning health care, the improvement of which could result in financial savings.
