[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou toxických aktiv a jejich významem pro evropský bankovní sektor. Toxická aktiva definuje, popisuje jejich vznik, základní vlastnosti a historii. Druhá část je věnována státní podpoře bankovního sektoru zasaženého finanční krizí. Stát využívá zejména státní záruky za závazky bank, kapitálové injekce a podporu aktiv. Práce stručně popisuje principy a cíle státní pomoci. Třetí část se zabývá praktickou aplikací státní pomoci v Evropské unii. Práce se dále zaměřuje na irskou bankovní krizi. Poslední část je věnována aktuální situaci v České republice a bankovní krizi z 90. let minulého století.This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of toxic assets and their importance for the European banking sector. It defines toxic assets, describes their origin, basic characteristics and history. The second part is about measures taken by governments in support of the banking sector. The governments largely use state guarantees for bank liabilities, capital injections and asset support. The thesis outlines the principles and objectives of state aid. The third part describes the practical application of the state aid in the European Union. This work also focuses on the Irish banking crisis. The last section is about the current situation in the Czech Republic and the banking crisis in the 1990s.
