Vo svojej práci sa venujem Východnému partnerstvu (EaP) ako inštrumentu politiky EÚ voči svojim východným susedom s ohľadom na geopolitické implikácie vyplývajúce zo spolupráce skrz danú iniciatívu. Mojou ambíciou bolo identifikovať prípadný prínos z iniciovania daného projektu, najmä v politicko-bezpečnostnom a energetickom aspekte. V prvej kapitole sa zameriavam na teoretický koncept geopolitiky spolu s geopolitickou definíciou východoeurópskeho regiónu. Druhá kapitola je venovaná konceptualizácii EaP ako inštrumentu zahraničnej politiky EÚ ako aj konkrétnej implementácii EaP v praxi. V tretej kapitole sa zaoberám konkrétnym významom tohto projektu vzhľadom na (geo)strategické ciele EÚ, ako aj analýze EaP z pohľadu efektívneho fungovania. Ve své práci se věnuji Východnímu partnerství (EaP) jako instrumentu politiky EU vůči svým východním sousedům s ohledem na geopolitické důsledky vyplývající ze spolupráce skrz tuto iniciativu. Mou ambicí bylo identifikovat případný přínos z zahájení daného projektu, zejména v politicko-bezpečnostním a energetickém aspektu. V první kapitole se zaměřuji na teoretický koncept geopolitiky spolu s geopolitickou definicí východoevropského regionu. Druhá kapitola je věnována konceptualizácii EaP jako instrumentu zahraniční politiky EU i konkrétním provádění EaP v praxi. Ve třetí kapitole se zabývám konkrétním významem tohoto projektu s ohledem na (geostrategické cíle EU i analýze EaP z pohledu efektivního fungování. In my work I have focused on the Eastern Partnership (EaP) as an instrument of EU (foreign) policy towards its eastern neighbors with regard to the geopolitical implications of collaboration through the given initiative. My ambition has been to identify the potential benefits of initiating the project, especially in political-security and energy aspects. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical concept of geopolitics as well as the geopolitical definition of the East-European region. The second chapter is devoted to the conceptualisation of the EaP as an specific instrument of the European foreign policy as well as the concrete implementation of the EaP in practice. The third chapter deals with particular relevance to this project with the (geo)strategic objectives of the EU as well as the analysis of the EaP in terms of effective functioning.
